[Bug 563727] Re: lirc_imon.ko does not get installed through dkms

2010-11-06 Thread graylion
hiya

I have what appears to be the exact same issue. I had a working
installation of lirc and lcdproc. I had applied the patch
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/38821679/lirc-0.8.6-VFD_0x0036_timing.patch.
This all broke when I upgraded the kernel.

the old version of the kernel is 2.6.32-22-generic-pae-i686, the new
one is 2.6.32-25-generic-pae-i686.

I have copied the module into the analogus directories as suggested but
no joy. I'll try and recompile the mmodule and reapply the patch.

But probably is better to put individual symlinks to /etc/apache2/conf.d

 Need some ideas here.

guys, I am not entirely sure that this is a dupe of 264299. this one
here seems very GMAIL-specific, I am getting it too. I always figured
that this was the reason why gmail has been added as a separate account
type in shredder. And it totally seems to depend on gmail. I get it very
irregularly and never when changing identities, whereas 264299 is only
ever when changing identities.

today I installed my updates on Ubuntu hardy AMD64 and I have proposed
updates switched on. Since then I have no sound at all and whichever
sound architecture I try doesn't work. Also my USB headset (Sennheiser)
is not being recognised anymore.

I'll happily provide configs, logfiles etc, if you tell me which ones.

thanks!

actually I am having a feeling that it is the restricted drivers. I just
tried to start Oblivion in wine 1.1.6 and it totally crashed.

[Bug 264299] [NEW] ldap account login having to be repeated

2008-09-03 Thread graylion
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Ubuntu 8.04.1 AMD64
TB version 2.0.0.16 (20080724)

I am using a somewhat unusual setup

I have 4 email accounts defined, 1 is a POP account, one is gmail, 2 are
different IMAP mailboxes on the same server, called mailboxA and
mailboxB from now on.

mailboxA actually covers 3 different email addresses via aliases on the
mail server side and different identities in TB. mailboxB is
straighforward in this.

mailboxA and mailboxB also use 2 different ldap accounts on the same
ldap server (same box as the imap server), so both are configured to
use a different LDAP server. What happens is that whenever I change
identity to send email from a different account or identity I get asked
the LDAP password twice, clearly for both of these accounts (they do
have different passwords) and no amount of saving it in password manager
changes that.

IMO the managing of different identities is flakey and why on earth does
it ask me for the LDAP password for mailboxB's LDAP account when I am
using one of mailboxA's identities? And vice versa?
