[Bug 1895762] [NEW] PH-B-500 Headphone makes bluetooh loop
Public bug reported: Hi there, I am using Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS(Brazilian Portuguese, so, sorry if I translated wrong some label) in a Dell Inspiron 15 series 3000 and I am having some Bluetooth problems. I always suffer to synchronize my Cadenza PH-B Bluetooth Headphone. It Shows as PH-B-500 at the bluetooth devices list What happens is: 1. I turn on the headphone 2. I go to Settings → Bluetooth 3. The Notebook entire bluetooth enters a shutdown reinitialize loop 4. It only stops when I turn off the headphone But if I: 1. Keep the headphone off 2. go to Settings → Bluetooth 3. Click on the PH-B-500 on the list 4. Turn the headphone on and at the same time click on Conection at the PH-B-500 Bluetooth window it usually starts working fine. The headphone works perfectly on my Android cell phone so I don’t believe it is broken. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bluetooth headphone ph-b-500 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1895762 Title: PH-B-500 Headphone makes bluetooh loop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1895762/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1892374] [NEW] Ubuntu Mate shows no icons when using brazilian portuguese

The names are there and they work but no icons. When I switch back to english the icons return. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: brazilian icons lannguage portuguese ** Attachment added: "Screenshot showing no icons using brazilian portuguese" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1892374/+attachment/5403137/+files/PTBR.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1892374 Title: Ubuntu Mate shows no icons when using brazilian portuguese To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1892374/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 392334] [NEW] Shared internet connection does not auto start
Public bug reported: Hi there, I have a problem with my network at home. I have two PCs, one running Win XP Pro(let's call it client) and another running Ubuntu 9.04/Win XP Pro(let's call it server). My cable internet connection is at the server machine and I share it with the client. I used the network connection tool that comes with gnome and shared the connection without problems and marked the auto connect option for this one. I hoped that it would work just like the Windows version: whenever I start the server using Windows the client can access internet even if I don't connect to my local account wich does not happen using Ubuntu. It only works when I login and click at the shared connection. I know there's a way to do this by changing some text files or by installing some hardware but I want to know: 1 - if there's a way to do this by the gnome interface or 2 - if I am understanding things wrong and I really have to connect and click the connection to activate it or 3 - if this is a bug and how to fix it. Thanks for any help ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Shared internet connection does not auto start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/392334 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 382526] Re: can't install NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.51-pkg1.run driver and I use a Geforce 9600GT 512MB
Michael, sorry for taking me so long to answer but I could test your instructios only today and they seem to be right. I removed everything from nvidia using the Synaptic, added the http://ppa...; string to the repository and reinstalled the drivers from there. Now I am playing a 3d game using Wine and playing a video at the same time for testing for almost half an hour and without a single problem. From now on I will check this site instead the manufacturer's one. Thank you very much for helping this newbie. [Bug 382526] Re: can't install NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.51-pkg1.run driver and I use a Geforce 9600GT 512MB
Michael, thank you very much for your help. I am a newbie in Linux and I downloaded the drivers directly from Nvidia. I did as you told me and my system is stable again, in terms. Sometimes it freezes and the video becomes strange but at this point I don't know if it was caused by my moves trying to install these drivers or not. Is there any incompatibility between Ubuntu and the Geforce 9600GT? If not I will probably reinstall Ubuntu since this video card works perfectly on Win XP and now I will use the driver source you showed me.
