[Bug 933776] Re: [regression] Initiate Window Picker for All Windows does not show all windows. It shows only windows from curent workspace.
I just downloaded the source for the compiz-plugins-default package, applied Dougs patch and compiled the scale plugin. (I had to install quite some dependencies to get cmake to stop complaining... ) Basically - the patch works.. Would be nice with an officially fixed package though... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933776 Title: [regression] Initiate Window Picker for All Windows does not show all windows. [Bug 439448] Re: notification area shows wrong icons. erratic behaviour
I'm having the same problem. But I only noticed it for the last few upstarts, did never experience it frequently a month ago. I updated a few packages a couple of days ago, after which I started to notice this issue. I have been running 9.10 (upgraded from 9.04) since it's public release. (Dell Latitude D630) Restarting gnome-panel is a working workaround for me too. -- notification area shows wrong icons. erratic behaviour https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439448 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 119730] Re: Slow SATA performance
After an upgrade to Ubuntu 8.04 the UDMA mode 6 has been activated, previously hdparm -i only showed up to UDMA 5 if I recall correctly, but now it shows UDMA 6 and it is checked. [Bug 119730] Re: Slow SATA performance
I have the same problems, but I have two machines, both running 7.10, the first is AMD the other is Intel. The problem for me seems to be the hard-drive itself. I have three SAMSUNG HD161HJ disks and one Maxtor. No UDMA mode is enabled for any of the samsung disks, independently of which machine it is connected to. The AMD has a VIA-SATA RAID controller, the Intel board has a controller from Intel. The Maxtor disk has UDMA 5 enabled. Conclusion: The differences on the disks have impact. I also have a question: can it be that the samsung disks themselves do not support any UDMA/DMA mode? -- Slow SATA performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/119730 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
