Re: [Bug 245917] Re: Evince with xpdf-japanese does not open a japanese file

2008-07-14 Thread sundol
xpdf-japanese is opensource, right?
It was installed automatically.

but poppler-data is not free and installed manually.

After installing japanese language support, evince, the default pdf viewer
doesn't support japanese.
This is the problem.
Just solve this problem in a way that whatever you like
I don't stick to poppler-data. Fine?

How about making a one-click install menu for non-opensource packages in
System- Administration - language support?

or

Previously (Gutsy), a japanese pdf file could be viewed by evince with
xpdf-japanese. so just go back same to Gutsy?

2008-07-12 Thread sundol
thank you for your bug report, that's not a bug though, evince uses
poppler which doesn't use xpdf-japanese, you need to install poppler-
 data instead

In that case, Japanese language support should include poppler-data.
I installed Japanese language support but Japanese characters were still
broken in evince.

It worked well in alpha version but not now in beta version.
I think that they couldn't fix this bug.

_rpy2061.so exists but R version is 2.62 and it produces same error
messages.

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created

Re: [Bug 128180] Re: rpy import error at Gusty

2007-10-22 Thread sundol
Hi,

It will work with older version of R because gutsy and feisty have _rpy2041
or _rpy2050.
For sure, try slocate _rpy.
I got
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/_rpy2041.so
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/_rpy2041.so
and you maybe get these, too.
If you get _rpy2041 or _rpy2050, R 2.4.1 or R 2.5.0 will work well,
respectively.

Best,

[Bug 120790] poor interface of window for send-receive of evolution at Gutsy

2007-06-17 Thread sundol
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

This might be not a bug report but a suggestion for better interface.
This problem doesn't happen at Feisty, though.

I have 5 account at Evolution.
When I click on Send/Receive of evolution, a window pop up and it shows only
4 settings out of 6 settings(5 pop + 1 smtp).
To see the other 2 settings, I have to enlarge the windows or scroll it.
Evolution doesn't remember the enlarged windows so that I enlarge the windows
every time I click Send/Receive button.

At Feisty, Evolution showed 6 settings at the first window so I didn't have to
enlarge windows or scroll.
I don't know if evolution remember the enlarged windows or not.

Suggestion:
 Please,
1. let Evolution remember the enlarged windows as a default setting
  and/or
2. let Evolution show more than 4 account settings at the pop up window as a
default ( like Feisty)

2007-03-25 Thread sundol
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bicyclerepair

bicyclerepair depends on vim-python but doesn't seem to include in

After I installed bicyclerepair, I put following three lines in ~/.vimrc to
enable bicyclerepair working.

let g:bike_exceptions = 1
let g:bike_progress = 1
source /usr/share/vim/addons/ftplugin/python_bike.vim

I got error message of Bicycle Repair Man needs Vim with Python interpreter

This errormessage was solved by aptitude install vim-python
