[Bug 769652] Re: tab display is degraded, must be opened up in a new window
I've confirmed the same problem that was reported above. I have a Checking Account Name under the Accounts tab. When I double click it I see The green banner of column names {Date | Num | Description | Transfer | R| Deposit | Withdrawal | Balance (ignore the '|' between column names - I just used it to separate the names). At the very bottom I see the summary of my account with (Present: $xx Future: $xx: Cleared: $xx Reconciled $xx Projected Minimum: $xx). Here again the $xx, are my amounts. Right above the summary is a cut off $ Grand total: $xx line. Other than that everything is unchanged as it appears as if the Checking tab wasn't ever opened. In other words everything else on the page shows as if the Accounts tab was the only tab. What is probably going to make this problem difficult to debug is that I don't see this on all of my accounts. Just this one. I have another account which opens fine in the tab when I double click it. The issue that I am seeing with my Checking Account Name is repeatable. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/769652 Title: tab display is degraded, must be opened up in a new window -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 8978] Re: Grub - Error 21 returned
Insalled ubuntu 8.10 after removing 7 on a secondary hard drive. Found that the operating system took over the entire hard drive, removed my windows partitions and then on restart I received the error 1.5 and error 21 message, could not log into anything and the system became useless. Found that I could boot to the cd if running live from the cd. Have not reinstalled ubuntu to date, but did have to reinstall windows operating system as the mbr appeared to be destroyed by the intallation of ubuntu. -- Grub - Error 21 returned https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/8978 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 162792] Re: Workspace problem
The problem which I reported seems to have been resolved, probably due to updates. I checked just now and everything seems to be just as it should be. By the way, the visual effects were set to normal ever since I upgraded the system to Ubuntu 7.10. Anyway, thanks a lot for taking interest in my problem and offering help. [Bug 162792] Workspace problem
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel I shifted the terminal window to the workspace on right. Now, if I go to that workspace (which is now supposed to contain the terminal window), I see an empty workspace (with no windows in it) and the terminal window seems to have shifted to further to right on its own!
