[Bug 665492] [NEW] proposition: remove pppoeconf from distribution

I say so because pppoeconf is conflicting with network-manager. You can
ask how? Try to establish a connection with pppoeconf. Now, what do we
have? Network-manager says that ethernet interface unavailable or
something like this. As result there is no ability to use network-manger
even after removing pppoeconf.

[Bug 630794] [NEW] use of GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT variable

2010-09-05 Thread yurik81
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: startupmanager

Grub has two variable for the same purpose. They are GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX
and GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT respectively. Startupmanager is using
only GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX. This leads to wrong behaviour. Here the sample:
Ubuntu has spash screen but in startupmanager splash checkbox isn't
checked.

2010-08-18 Thread yurik81
Thanks for the reply. For me first place to search needed button is
toolbar. Second place is main menu. Third place is bottom in window.
This convention is used in many other programs. Conclusion: all main
buttons must be placed in toolbar.

P.S. You don't need to move a 'burn' button. Just make a copy of it on
toolbar.

2010-04-27 Thread yurik81
I mean that user can't change main menu's icon size in '~/.gtkrc-2.0'
because '/usr/share/themes/Human/gtk-2.0/gtkrc' has highest priority.
Only one theme enforces main menu's size and that is Human theme. Of
course I can edit theme's file but it will be replaced after her
update.

This was a bug in previous versions. Because of this, I did not use
software-center for some time. Now really everything is fine. Sorry
for the inconvenience.

2009/10/29, Michael Vogt michael.v...@ubuntu.com:
 Thanks for your bugreport.

I just tried to reproduce this with 3dchess it has a xaw3dg dependency.
When installing 3dchess with software-center the dependency is set to
auto. I can apt-get autoremove 3dchess and it will also remove xaw3dg.

With what packages do you see this problem? How can I reproduce the
 problem?
