[Bug 1034768] Re: Segmentation fault (core dumped) when trying to edit an image

2013-07-05 Thread Zorvalent
Hello, shutter also crashes on my end when trying to edit images. It
doesn't matter if they're images created with shutter or not. I've tried
re-installing, purging config files, updating to the latest version from
the ppa, but nothing helped. I think this might share some light on the
matter, output from dmesg after a crash:

[ 1774.804030] show_signal_msg: 27 callbacks suppressed
[ 1774.804035] shutter[3350]: segfault at 0 ip 7ff2a8a4afb0 sp

[18918.866414] shutter[3397]: segfault at 0 ip 7f77fafd1fb0 sp
7fffe444a288 error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.3600.0[7f77faf99000+f9000]

I'm using fully updated Ubuntu Studio 13.04.

If there's any more info that you might need, do tell. If anyone has
any idea how I might be able to get it to work, I'd be extremely
thankful.

[Bug 1034768] Re: Segmentation fault (core dumped) when trying to edit an image

2013-01-04 Thread SubBASS
I'm also having Shutter segfault when I either click the edit image
icon, or use ctrl+e to edit an image.

It happens with saved images and also screenshots taken with Shutter
itself.

Problem first appeared when I was using Debian Testing 64bit, I have
since installed Ubuntu 32bit 12.04 and upgraded to 12.10. Problem
persists. I have deleted ~/.shutter in an attempt to fix, with no
effect.
