mvo, are you doing upgrade tests with samba? I suspect we'd get more reports on this if it was a real packaging/update problem and that the culprit is Easy Ubuntu. Since that is not something we can support or debug I'm closing this. Hi I use in my Fujitsu laptop Ubuntu 6.06. I have also installed Easy Ubuntu. I have got all the updates, which the system offers, and I have accepted them all. Samba version is 3.0.22-1ubuntu3.2. When I tried to inform it on the net, the program answered that there is not that kind of version. I made a png-file of the information in synaptic package manager as attachment. I already tried to reinstall samba, but it did not work. Should I reinstall the whole Ubuntu?
