mvo, are you doing upgrade tests with samba? I suspect we'd get more
reports on this if it was a real packaging/update problem and that the
culprit is Easy Ubuntu.
Since that is not something we can support or debug I'm closing this.
Please reopen if anyone can reproduce it on a clean Ubuntu system.
