[Bug 1136700] Re: [Gigabyte H77M-D3H] cpufreq ondemand governor problem
I downloaded the latest (as of last night 11/11/13) 32-bit Trusty desktop ISO and booted with the intel_pstate=disable option so that I could test the ondemand governor, and it does not have the bug, confirming Viresh Kumar's previous comment. The kernel version is 3.12.0-2. Thanks to all for resolving this problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1136700 Title: [Gigabyte H77M-D3H] cpufreq ondemand governor problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1136700/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1136700] Re: [Gigabyte H77M-D3H] cpufreq ondemand governor problem
James Hochschild, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If it remains an issue, could you please test the latest upstream kernel via http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.12-trusty/ and advise to the results? ** Summary changed: - cpufreq ondemand governor problem + [Gigabyte H77M-D3H] cpufreq ondemand governor problem ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1136700 Title: [Gigabyte H77M-D3H] cpufreq ondemand governor problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1136700/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
