[Bug 1189748] Re: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386
Thanks for your report. I don't think this is PulseAudio related. Could you check your file system for corruption, out of disk space, or similar? ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1189748 Title: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1189748/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1189748] Re: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386
hi David/Raymond there is no system trouble detected, and yes ac97 is selected and there is no front audio panel. that issue ( most of the pulseaudio updrades left unconfigured: dialog box complaint about missing dependencies) has hapeared only with that 0ubuntu8 upgrade; all other upgraded packages does not complaint. So it seems related to a pulseaudio dependency (ies) or one of its own dependency having issue with multiarch. ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1189748 Title: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1189748/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1189748] Re: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386
Note: i can listen sound streaming (radiotray for example) without issue (pulseaudio seems to use the previous config, as it has failed to reconfigure with the latest upgrade) and hopes it will also work with the next reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1189748 Title: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1189748/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1189748] Re: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386
Well, was there some error causing pulseaudio to be left unconfigured? Could you look in e g /var/log/dpkg.log /var/log/apt/term.log /var/log/apt/history.log ...for error messages or anything else that could help us understand why it was left unconfigured?
[Bug 1189748] Re: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386
hi David, the logs was clean; but i've found that dpkg had failed to purge an other package cleanly, and was disturbing the pulseaudio config. So i've rebooted and reinstalled the pulseaudio packages: that time the config ended smootly. Doing that report invalid. ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1189748 Title: E: Internal Error, No file name for pulseaudio:i386 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1189748/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
