I'm also seeing this issue, Karmic, but I presume issue is general. Threw question out in #ubuntu chat, two answers, both affirmative confirming. Window gets sent to background but retains focus. Thanks for confirming this. What actually happens when you middle-click a title bar? Is it that the window gets put behind other windows but retains focus?
