crysman, does your locale use comma as decimal? I'm seeing this bug as well and I guess this would solve it https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11906. Using Touchpad without properly functional settings like disabling while typing is a real pain. It should be fixed. To be sure, I've just tested it directly on live session from USB. It does not work either.
