[Bug 1453619] Re: udisksd and dbus-daemon consume too much cpu

2016-01-08 Thread Peter Ludwig
Can be closed. Found the cause. If you change a drive (i.e. move swap to
different partition) and you do not close all dolphin windows after or
before reboot wrong settings seem to be kept by dolphin leading to this
problem. After I closed all my dolphin windows (which I normally leave
open to have quicker file / folder access) the problem was gone.

[Bug 1453619] Re: udisksd and dbus-daemon consume too much cpu

2015-12-05 Thread Peter Ludwig
I now removed the package "baloo" because it was said that this helped someone
- but to no avail.
I upgraded my kernel now to "3.13.0-71-generic" - no change.
I monitored my udisk daemon with: "sudo /usr/lib/udisks2/udisksd --replace" but
there was not really sth. going on after 2 or 3 seconds while the cpu burning
went still on.
I am planning to monitor my D-Bus now. But this will take some time. I will get
back with news.

[Bug 1453619] Re: udisksd and dbus-daemon consume too much cpu

2015-05-27 Thread Peter Ludwig
The fs rights on the USB drive are set to my username. (username:users)
I am in group: plugdev and fuse
Umounting sometimes does not require root password.
But mounting and umounting is always followed with high CPU load around ~ 30
secs long. (udisksd and dbus-daemon)

2015-05-23 Thread Peter Ludwig
I noticed that sometimes I have to umount USB Storage devices by typing
root password. Umount a device mounted by another user - which is
confusing cuz I am the one who mounted it ... (?)

[Bug 1453619] Re: udisksd and dbus-daemon consume too much cpu

2015-05-11 Thread Peter Ludwig
I assume it is not affected by usb-creator but rather udisksd and dbus.
Sorry for this first false classification.

** Package changed: usb-creator (Ubuntu) = udisks (Ubuntu)
