[Bug 1863417] Re: libc6 2.30-0ubuntu2.1 is not available on i386, breaking multiarch
Comment 11 from bug 1854326: Ok, so I have re-triggered the i386 build and this time it built correctly, so the i386-caused issues should have disappeared. I will be releasing the SRU if everything seems to work properly now. I've re-enabled "Pre-released updates (eoan-proposed)" under "Developer Options" in "software-properties-gtk" and libc6 2.30-0ubuntu2.1 has been properly installed now. As a test I've removed and re-installed "winehq-devel" (5.2~eoan) without any problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1863417 Title: libc6 2.30-0ubuntu2.1 is not available on i386, breaking multiarch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glibc/+bug/1863417/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1863417] Re: libc6 2.30-0ubuntu2.1 is not available on i386, breaking multiarch
I had a bad experience trying to reverse out of this problem with 2.30-0ubuntu2.1 installed under proposed. Fortunately I treaded lightly and linked it to the proposed update line and was able to downgrade to 2.30-0ubuntu2. Had to reinstall a bunch of stuff, including the nvidia driver, but all was well in the end. I only have myself to blame, pretty sure apt said these packages were being held back, and with good reason. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1863417 Title: libc6 2.30-0ubuntu2.1 is not available on i386, breaking multiarch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glibc/+bug/1863417/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

in the mean time (until fix available) do the following: in the "Software & Updates" application select "Settings..." from here go to "Developer Options" and disable "Pre-released updates (eoan- proposed)" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1863417 Title: libc6 2.30-0ubuntu2.1 is not available on i386, breaking multiarch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glibc/+bug/1863417/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
