With latest kernel/updates as of 2020-11-3 12:21 JST. Ok, after changing "Config>Graphics Device" from "Discrete Graphics" to "Hybrid Graphics" in the BIOS as suggested by ArronMa the touchpad and trackpoint appear to function as expected. Thanks all! Ok, with everything updated and using the latest kernel, I still see the issue. I'll try Checking the hybrid-mode in BIOS. Using synaptics_intertouch=0 falls back to psmouse instead of proper RMI driver. Please try to use hybrid mode of GPU in BIOS. @kaiheng, The X1 extreme in our lab became brick, so I could reproduce this issue. And Aaron should have X1 Extreme in his hand.
