I opened the odp presentation but Impress never crashes so it's not the presentation that is the problem and we need more information about the environment. Lillian, please open a new bug about the impress issue by typing this in a terminal on your system: ubuntu-bug libreoffice In the description please mention: 1. The output of "cat /etc/os-release" 2. Thank you for that. However, impress still crashes after 2 mintues of having it open. I have gone to the community boards and looked at bug fixes. From my research this problem has been going on since 2012. It starts the series of crashing once you add transitions to the presentation or sound. Now, i can't even keep it open long enough to remove them. Plus, it does not convert to PowerPoint 365 or even the older versions. The issue with the patches for my Leveno updates has been resolved but now I have a the same error with other patches. I have attached a screen shoot of the error message. As far as the other issue with Impress, I have gone to the community pages but no one has successful found the solution or work around that will fix this issue. Hello Lillian, I suggest running the firmware update tool by hand to see if there's more information available there: sudo fwupdmgr update I'm not sure what to suggest for libreoffice; perhaps https://askubuntu.com/ would be a place to get more advice on how to work with imports or exports to other formats.
