Also note that changing shadow effects in CCSM has absolutely no effect; changing shadow effects in Emerald makes shadows disappear completely until emerald is restarted. The pink shadows on menus are gone now. Must have been one of the updates since that removed them. They were replaced by a golden orange glow/shadow around top-level application windows. Disturbingly, this glow also comes and goes with no discernible pattern.
