[Bug 586215] Re: keyboard stops working suddenly on my laptop (i minimize the window, maximize it again --> it works) still strange

2010-08-06 Thread Bryce Harrington

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the
original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to
reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against
the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we
may be able to pass upstream for help.

[Bug 586215] Re: keyboard stops working suddenly on my laptop (i minimize the window, maximize it again --> it works) still strange

2010-07-15 Thread Leo Arias
I don't know if this can be caused because of the flash plugin.
In order to discard the possibility, could you please try to reproduce the
issue after the plugin has been uninstalled?

thanks.

2010-07-15 Thread Leo Arias
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which
is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper
developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. I have classified this
bug as a bug in xserver-xorg-input-keyboard.

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the
appropriate application's "Help -> Report a Problem" menu or using
'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more
about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

[Bug 586215] Re: keyboard stops working suddenly on my laptop (i minimize the window, maximize it again --> it works) still strange

2010-06-01 Thread Monika Antoni
it is just a guess, but could the famous flashplugin bug #410407 cause
this?

** Description changed:

i updated my karmic a few weeks ago to lucid and for roughly 10 days or so my
keyboard stops working suddenly every other firefox-session. i minimize the
window, open it again and the keyboard works again. my sister is having the
same problem, we both use a hp pavillion dv 6000 series computer.
i am not completly sure if i use the xorg package, but it is most likely.

greetings and thanks for the support,
  Monika
