As wierd as it may sound it seems it seems this problem solved itself somehow somwhere between Beta and Final . With that beeing said bug squashed . Note that Safe Graphics Mode would not work because of bug #59618. And your swap file would not be used because of bug #62868. That said, the issue, as you described it, doesn't seem to be related to video driver problems, nor to your scarce amount of RAM (*): none of these would make the LiveCD reboot so quickly. It's more probable it's a kernel issue. i don't belive that to be a reason not to boot at all. If i am not mistaken the live cd also may use a swap partition if it finds one. Desktop CDs (Live CDs) suggest a minimum of 192 MB of RAM. This may be the cause of the problem.
