Bug still present while upgrading (dist-upgrade) from 21.04 to 21.10 the window (ui) is not resizable after the details window is enlarged (with > button). Confirming the issue on the 11.10 to 12.04 upgrade. My netbook has a 1024x600 screen. Screen captures attached. All pictures are cut at the bottom of the screen. I can't understand why this issue is only marked Importance: medium. Note that this is not only the output window (labelled Terminal) that has this size problem. Still the same during upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04 - it's not possible to access the buttons of the update-manager's window if the console window is expanded. This is a major usability issue for the upgrade that has still not been addressed after at least 3 releases. Here are some details of the pain: - I can not see the complete list of packages that will be installed/upgraded/deleted: the bottom of the window is out of the screen - Once I have access to that list, I can not view the action buttons under it to either accept or decline the upgrade. I can not access them with the mouse, and I have to blindly navigate the controls with the tab key. - I can not view the bottom of the terminal window during the upgrade - If I remember well I also had problem with the windows that asked me about config files upgrade My netbook is an Asus Eee Pc 1005HA.
