I verified on another machine by running chromium-browser --password- store=detect and the new preferences design has a Show button with no cut off text. Sorry, I missed your response. Since I reported this issue, the Chromium team redesigned the preferences UI. I no longer see any cut-off text. (I'm currently on Chromium 10.0.648.133 (77742) Ubuntu 10.10.) However, since the Chromium team has also moved password storage to Gnome Keyring, I don't have any passwords in Chromium and I don't have a Show password button. Regardless, I think this issue can be closed. Thanks a lot for reporting this, however I am unable to reproduce the behaviour you describe. When I go into 'Preferences' - 'Show saved passwords', the text on the 'Show password' button is clearly visible. I have attached a screenshot as confirmation of this.
