I still thik there is simmilarity between bug #79303 what you think? How is that different from bug #79303? -- Deskbar Computer Actions unclean https://launchpad.net/bugs/79300 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 79300] Re: Deskbar Computer Actions unclean
Sebastien Bacher wrote: How is that different from bug #79303? Because 79303 says that if you type Shutdown, or accidentally mis-click it while trying to get rid of the command history dialog, your computer shuts down (with no chance to cancel). The big problem here is... you might accidentally shut down. When I accidentally click the Log Out button in the top right, it doesn't just log me out; it asks. This bug says that if you type Shutdown, you get shutdown without logging out of Gnome; i.e., kill -9 gnome-session style log-out (more realistically it's probably that gdm got stopped). The big problem here is sometimes this destroys the entire gconf2 settings tree. -- Deskbar Computer Actions unclean https://launchpad.net/bugs/79300 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
