Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The Ubuntu Live CD is designed to be a "live filesystem" and does not appear as a CD when you have booted from it; this is normal. Please send a fix for it...it's very irritating, it won't accept ANY CD that I insert.
