Solved the problem installing nvidia-glx-new driver, version 1.0-9775. The package nvidia-glx has driver version 1.0-9631. Same problem here with the same chip (Quadro FX 350M on Dell M65) with Feisty. I activated the binary drivers with the restricted manager, though it doen't seem to make a difference scince i encountered this problem *after* i activated them (just hooked up the second screen). Thank you for your bug report. Paul: The recommended way in Feisty and above of activating the nvidia binary drivers is by using restricted-manager.
