[Bug 1137941] [NEW] automount does not recognize options from NIS map
Public bug reported: Ubuntu 12.04, autofs5 5.0.6 automount recognizes mount options given in a local map. Eg, /etc/auto.home: * -vers=3 myserver:/home/ But the same options in an NIS map are not parsed correctly. # ypcat -k auto.home * -vers=3 myserver:/home/ With BROWSE_MODE=yes in /etc/default/autofs, the above line in the NIS map will produce: # ls /home -vers=3 That shows that, rather than parsing the options when they are there, automount is taking the first whitespace-delimited string as the mount arg. ** Affects: autofs5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1137941 Title: automount does not recognize options from NIS map To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autofs5/+bug/1137941/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1137996] [NEW] Software Updater freezes for a while if there are many updates available
Public bug reported: If there are a lot of updates available, Software Updater in raring will freeze for a while before showing the update list. By freeze, I mean the window goes dark. The GTK event loop isn't given control while update-manager is thinking about the update list. The original source of the problem is that update-manager has a naive recursive calculation of updates. [Bug 1126560] Re: /etc/networking/* are executed multiple times
From the manpage: When ifupdown is being called with the --all option, before doing anything to interfaces, if calls all the hook scripts (pre-up or down) with IFACE set to --all, LOGICAL set to the current value of --allow parameter (or auto if it's not set), ADDRFAM=meta and METHOD=none. [Bug 1118322] Re: Uninstalled webapps don't appear in the Dash Apps Lens
Do we need to to appear as Installed Apps or More suggestions from the USC feed? In the case of Installed Apps we need to ship an extra desktop file with the webapps packages (the ones already existing). At the moment, the desktop files are being generated at runtime by us. This is needed because we support dynamic launcher actions that are added to the desktop file on demand. So we would ship a desktop file with a webapp that needs to be seen by the dash, and override it in ~/.local/share/applications (same as now) to be able to customize it on demand, In the case of More suggestions, we need to tie in w/ USC and what's missing on their end. [Bug 980320] Re: Skype silently crashes on Ubuntu 64bits
I had the same problem in Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit, even installing skype from repositories than downloading the package from Skype officiale site. I solved (it seems) with the suggestion from Diego Gaviola, disabling skype to handle Pulse Audio Mixer. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/980320 Title: Skype silently crashes on Ubuntu 64bits To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/skype/+bug/980320/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
