Looks like a combination of bugs, the root cause being running euca_conf without --no-rsync now fails: Trying rsync to sync keys with 192.168.3.16...rsync: -oUserKnownHostsFile=/dev/null': unknown option rsync error: syntax or usage error (code 1) at main.c(1443) [client=3.0.7] failed. Regression probably introduced at rev932 in our tree. Then you might be hitting bug 531195. Also note that nodes are now written to /var/lib/eucalyptus/nodes.list, not eucalyptus.conf. So euca_find_component could be fixed to be able to use #2 types, however I'm unsure we should support the case of multiple CCs with the same cluster name running in the same network. That opens the door for lots of bugs, I think. From which CC would the NC download its preseed ? At least the current situation allows us to spot when you try to autodeploy a broken topology... because it *is* a broken topology. Note that manual ISO install would tell you that there already is a CC when you install the new one. I've not been able to do much testing on DK-p and none UPower. what I can say for the DK-p side (which theoretically should be applicable to UPower) is: - if a USB UPS is plugged, DK-p will take the hand on it. - if NUT is then started, it will kick off DK-p (by detaching the hiddev kernel driver, and so cutting the link used by DK-p), and will take the hand on the device. - if NUT is then stopped, you will have to unplug / replug your UPS' USB cord to generate a new udev event so that DK-p probes the new devices and restore the link to it. So, I'm confident that this upload won't break DK-p or UPower, and will fixe many things. as a side note, I have a 2.4.3-2 underway which solves the bull**it introduced by Scott James for refreshing the USB bus on postinst... The result is that any USB user has to unplug / plug back his UPS' USB cord to get udev apply the right rules. ie, in nut.postint: udevadm trigger --action=change should be replaced by udevadm trigger --subsystem-match=usb though I've not finished investigation / work on this, and won't commit on an upload date. this is limited to new installation where the UPS is already plugged in. We still have these problems in two of our servers. Both of these run MySQL 5 (packaged with Hardy). A bunch of other servers running MySQL doesn't have this problem though, nor our other servers. So sched_setaffinity fails for qemu:///session because
/usr/sbin/libvirtd is run as a non-root user but the qemu VM is running
as root. In fact, this code could never have worked - has anyone ever
actually tested a qemu:///session VM before? It seems odd that this code
could ever get released.

Hi thanks for taking the time to test this. I am starting it as part of a script to tunnel a nx session through a firewall -L XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:X. The commands are actually irrelevant for the bug as all I need to do to reproduce this is type alt+F2 then: ssh usern...@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx The gui does not accept my password (I have tried many times with the correct one). If I replace ssh-askpass-gnome with ssh-askpass it works fine. If I run the command from the terminal it works fine. Also, are you using the real ssh-agent, or some inferior substitute (e.g. gnome-keyring-daemon)?
