[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1579182] Re: [drm:intel_pipe_update_end [i915]] *ERROR* Atomic update failure on pipe A
Marcelo Fernandez, the next step is to fully commit bisect from kernel 3.13 to 4.4 in order to identify the last good kernel commit, followed immediately by the first bad one. This will allow for a more expedited analysis of the root cause of your issue. Could you please do this following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection ? Please note, finding adjacent kernel versions is not fully commit bisecting. Also, the kernel release names are irrelevant for the purposes of bisecting. After the offending commit (not kernel version) has been identified, then please mark this report Status New. Thank you for your help. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1579182 Title: [drm:intel_pipe_update_end [i915]] *ERROR* Atomic update failure on pipe A To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1579182/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1577162] Re: Screens briefly blacks out at lightdm prompt
apport information ** Tags added: possible-manual-nvidia-install ubuntu ** Description changed: When I boot my laptop and get to the lightdm login prompt, the screen blacks out for a fraction of second. This happens each time, only once, and does not prevent logging in. In fact it is not only a display glitch : if I start to type my password before the blackout, the typed characters are lost when normal display resumes. So lightdm might be restarting. This is only mildly annoying, but I am also experiencing other graphical problems which may be or not be related (namely #1568604). [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1568604] Re: Mouse cursor lost when unlocking with Intel graphics
This may already be solved or known as well however I'm having the same issue. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 at its base (its Ubuntu Gnome 16.04). I'm using a script to put the machine (i'm on a desktop not lappy) to sleep upon a keyboard shortcut and once it "awakes" I can unlock the machine but the cursor is missing (right click shows the default nautilus menu however, but no cursor) however if I have an open window (or if i open a terminal via a shortcut) already i.e: firefox and alt+tab (or super+tab in my case) the cursor displays. Very odd. I cannot replicate any other time other than resuming from sleep. I've ran a dist-upgrade, normal 'upgrade' still no avail, Any thoughts? - Brad -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1568604 Title: Mouse cursor lost when unlocking with Intel graphics To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/elementaryos/+bug/1568604/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
