Back it up from inside the VM if you prefer, you don't have to back it up as a single entity, it doesn't really matter how you do it. Rsync it to another machine, copy it to backblaze, OneDrive, xfsdump, tar, dar, Bacula, Amanda, whatever. That's a secondary problem no matter how you store it up front. -Transcoded from Matt's brain by Tapatalk- -- Hardware: 3x Touch, 1x Radio, 2x Receivers, 1 HP Microserver NAS with Debian+LMS 7.9.0 Music: ~1300 CDs, as 450 GB of 16/44k FLACs. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Experimental: Bluetooth Speaker support in piCorePlayer 3.22
Thais is still experimental, as I was looking to see if folks had luck with various Bluetooth devices. If you have never looked at bluez, you will need to read up on that. Read point 4 in the opening post. The extension can be installed from the extension button in the main menu. paul-'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58858 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108037 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Experimental: Bluetooth Speaker support in piCorePlayer 3.22
A little linux skillz to install manual portions of support, and to do some debugging if needed I don't know how to "•Download Extension pcp-bt from the extension browser. Using the piCorePlayer Sourceforge repo." Can you explain how to do this? Will WI-FI work using an external WI-FI adapter? Thanks! Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Xubuntu 14.04 & startup sequence of LMS
Yes, this is an old one but... Today I decided to test if it was possible to remove the Q&D /etc/rc.local workaround command, because I am running Ubuntu 16.04 now with systemd and LMS 7.9.x The test was unsuccessful, the /etc/rc.local workaround is still needed when running LMS on a system where the network is started later than LMS. I have not tweaked with the systemd-config or whatsoever, it is running with default Ubuntu settings. I can't believe I am still the only one over here having this problem. I am still interested in a structural solution or nicer workaround! *Living Room:* HifiBerry DAC+ Pro & piCorePlayer *Attic:* HifiBerry DAC+ RCA & piCorePlayer *Kitchen:* SB Radio *Other rooms:* 4x SB Radio zordaz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61726 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102220 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce piCorePlayer 3.20
Hi, First of all, thanks a lot for the great job. I use piCorePlayer with a Pi3 and an HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro and everything works fine. Now I want to use the USB DAC, it works well except that I hear loud clicks/pops between tracks only when the sample rate changes : for example from 44.1 to 192 or from 96 to 88.2 kHz. Any idea or suggestion on the way to tweak piCorePlayer to remove these clicks/pops ? Thanks a lot for you help. I think that my issue is slightly different though. The files play fine when I play the album proper, but when they are mixed in a playlist the playlist will stop playing at that point. If I advance manually to the next track, they will play. I'll do a test tonight and look at the log file. Just to verify, the log is on the LMS server, correct? stereoptic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53162 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107352 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
