Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] LMS start\stop\restart
whenever I boot my Rpi3 running pCP (with Jivelite and the touch screen), radios are almost never available. Is LMS running on the same Pi? What kind of network connection are you using? The symptoms you're describing would likely happen if LMS was started before the network connection was up. Don't use wlan if you're running LMS on the device. -- Michael ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

[SlimDevices: Unix] LMS start\stop\restart
whenever I boot my Rpi3 running pCP (with Jivelite and the touch screen), radios are almost never available. In order to get them, I have to restart the LMS from the web page of the pCP. After the above I can play radios from the WEB interface, but from the touch display the radio icon is not showing In order to play radios even from the touch LCD I have to QUIT the interface, then when it reload after some seconds, the radio icon appears. question 1) How and where put a command to delay the LMS autostart? or to restart it? Keep in mind that I am using the pCP + LCD touch and I want to avoid web interface question 2) same as 1) but for the LCD interface thanks. steff's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66870 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108549 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Is JiveLite possible using keyboard (USB), mouse (USB) and large display (HDMI)?
Once I was told that it exists I finally found it in Tweaks. I installed it, rebooted, and now I can control the player from the device itself. The functions are all there once I found the proper "Skin" to use. I even found how to reboot and shutdown. My gratitude to you for your help and to all the folks who worked to create this. ALSA device is: hw:CARD=sndallodigione ALSA parameters: 80:4::1: Everything else is default. I had tried setting the "Close output setting" to zero, but that seemed to make the problem worse. I cannot produce the failure on demand. The next time it happens I will run dmesg to look for messages. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Is JiveLite possible using keyboard (USB), mouse (USB) and large display (HDMI)?
Is JiveLite possible using keyboard (USB), mouse (USB) and large display (HDMI/VGA)? Yes. There's even a skin optimized for this use case (HDGridSkin). I know that it can be done with a 7 in touchscreen but can I use a large VGA monitor with an HDMI adaptor and a mouse and keyboard? Ok, VGA won't do HD. But the concept remains the same. -- Michael ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
[SlimDevices: Unix] Is JiveLite possible using keyboard (USB), mouse (USB) and large display (HDMI)?
Is JiveLite possible using keyboard (USB), mouse (USB) and large display (HDMI/VGA)? I need to control my RPi3/HiFiBerryAMP2 from the installation site (my bedroom) rather than walking to the other end of the house to start/stop/change songs etc. on my computer. Is this possible? I know that it can be done with a 7 in touchscreen but can I use a large VGA monitor with an HDMI adaptor and a mouse and keyboard? My eyesight and arthritis make it very difficult to use the little touchscreen and I already have the other parts so cheaper for me Thanks.. [SlimDevices: Unix] pCP and DSD native support
After managing DSD plugin and pCP settings, now I am able to play DSD files. My DAC correctly says that is receiving DSD over PCM (DoP). Unfortunately (do not know if it is a DAC limitation) but only DSD 2.8M and DSD 5.6M are supported in the DoP mode, since the DAC can manage DSD 11.2 just in native mode. now the question: is there any way to let pCP play DSD in native mode and not DoP? If yes, then how to?
