Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer 7.0.0 - Public Beta
Many thanks for continuing work on this fantastic project. I've installed the 64-bit version on a Pi3B. This went smoothly. Whenever I try to disable HDMI power on the Tweaks page, I get the following: Code: [ INFO ] Powering off HMDI... [ INFO ] Checking for tvservice software... [ INFO ] rpi-vc.tcz downloading... Error. [ INFO ] rpi-vc.tcz installing... Error. [ INFO ] [ ERROR ] Error with "tvservice --off" command. Internet and pCP repository are both accessible. I've also installed the 32-bit version on two older devices this morning - HDMI power off worked fine on those. kmccourt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3815 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113199 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

I'm running b7 on a B+, 2B and 3B. I'm not sure there was an update path from b1 to b7 apart from fresh install. kmccourt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3815 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110727 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

I have pCP working with an IQaudioIO DigiAMP+ and I think the config for the AMP+ is similar - the default setting on the AMP+ is to be muted on power-up. Is the mute LED on your AMP+ on or off? If you look at section 15 of http://www.iqaudio.com/downloads/IQaudIO.pdf, you need to have either Code: dtoverlay=iqaudio-dacplus,unmute_amp or Code: dtoverlay=iqaudio-dacplus,auto_mute_amp added to config.txt. kmccourt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3815 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109009 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Many thanks for that, Greg. Had to change: Code: http://192.168.1.xxx/www/cgi-bin/fix.cgi to Code: http://192.168.1.xxx/cgi-bin/fix.cgi Is it safe to remove fix.cgi and fix.cgi.md5.txt after the fix has been applied? kmccourt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3815 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105018 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Testing is stuck at 7.5.6~32834, but unstable has been getting the 7.6.1-x releases and, at the time of posting, is currently at 7.6.1~33068. [SlimDevices: Unix] Upgrading ClarkConnect
I'm usually a believer in -if it ain't broke, don't fix it- and have been running various versions of SqueezeCenter very successfully under ClarkConnect 4.2 Community Edition. However it seems that the death knell has been sounded for support of this version and I don't want to be running an OS that is not actively maintained. Should I anticipate an easy upgrade to CC 5.0 whenever it is released? Is it better/easier to upgrade or do a fresh install? My music library is safely backed up. [SlimDevices: Unix] ClarkConnect - help with error message
I've a new installation of SqueezeCentre 7 running on ClarkConnect 4.2. All logging options are currently on and set to 'Error'. Once an hour, server.log is filling up with tens of thousands of identical messages generated over about 20 seconds: -[08-03-30 10:30:32.0485] Slim::Networking::Select::select (245) Error: Select task failed: Not a SCALAR reference at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Networking/Select.pm line 282.- What exactly does this error message mean? Which of the many logging options do I have to disable to stop this from appearing? server.log is hitting 100MB daily! Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] ClarkConnect - help with error message
My fault:( Thanks bpa for pointing me towards revisiting the settings and look at plugins. Contrary to my first message, I missed out that logging for one plugin (WeatherTime) was set to 'Warn' and not 'Error'. Changed it back and the logging problem seems to have gone. -- kmccourt kmccourt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3815 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=45529 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
