The Business / Security Analyst will play a pivotal role in the Cyber
Security Enhancements Program that will improve and extend the State of

*Roles and responsibilities:*

   - Work with the team on specific projects/requirements pertaining to
   Spark data management and analytics
   - Develop and engineer in Scala, Spark and supporting libraries,
   advancing Big Data analytics setup
   - Learn, design and implement large-scale algorithms using PySpark,
   Spark and Spark Streaming.
   - Learn, design and implement large-scale machine learning operations
   using MLBase and associated libraries.
   - Build upon existing data ingestion processes and upstream uses of
   Datalake
   - Employ test-driven development, rapid release schedule, and continuous
   integration.
   - Work with the implementation team and the business stakeholders in
   meetings, planning, reviews

*Experience:* 6-10 years

*Skills and competencies:*

   - Experience of working on Big Data analytics for banking, financial
   services or insurance clients
   - Algorithms / Data Structures: Design patterns, efficiency, using the
   right abstraction for the task
   - OOP: concepts to build components
   - Databases: Both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (HBase,
   Cassandra, MongoDB)
   - Distributed computations, map-reduce abstractions, and streaming
   processing
   - Experience deploying projects in both Python, Java or Scala
   - Possess strong analytical/logical thinking skills and clarity of
   thought
   - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
   - Ability to learn complex businesses very quickly, define problems
   accurately while paying attention to details in the solution
   - Ability to develop strong relationships with client and offshore teams
   - Excellent communications skills

*Education Qualification:*

   - Education: M.S. / Ph.D. in computer science, physics, electrical
   engineering, applied mathematics (plus 2-6 years of development experience)
   or other related degree and / or significant experience.
   - Fluency: In Java and or Python (at least 2 years of experience on
   commercial or commercial-like projects) and perhaps a few other languages,
   like (Scala, C/C++ and Julia)
   - Distributed / Parallel Computation/ Real-time streaming applications
   - Data visualization/ Graph Processing
