Hello Jibsan,
how do you start your necessary parts for your OM?
By script? (Like me)
I need a sleep-command between my start- comnands.

Flash using: actual news

2017-12-30 Thread Rene Scholz

Hello,

a few minutes ago I got a message that the Windows 10-Browser "Edge"
will block Flash.

https://www.turn-on.de/tech/news/microsoft-edge-wird-flash-bald-standardmaessig-unterdruecken-174889?utm_source=outbrain&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=rss_tech_desktop&utm_term=CHIP+News&utm_content=Microsoft+Edge+wird+Flash+bald+standardm%C3%A4%C3%9Fig+unterdr%C3%BCcken

Or another news-sample with the hint to eliminate flash immediately:
http://www.chip.de/news/Adobe-verabschiedet-sich-vom-Flash-Player-Das-Ende-kommt-aber-nicht-sofort_119426888.html
(The site "Chip.de" is one of the frequentiest sites for IT-News "for
everybody".)

I am frightened that we can not the user dictate which Browser he/she
have to use.

What is your opinion about the using of flash in OM? How long it will be
possible?

(I know that Maxim said a few weeks ago that it is in progress.)

BTW: In one of the news I read that Apple eliminated Flash year(s) ago.
Have anyobody tested OM with a Mac? (I dont have a mac myself.)

With best regards,

Rene

Re: reset Windows-Positions

2017-11-27 Thread Rene Scholz

Hello Maxim,

I understand.
I ask me why Adobe Flash ask not for the certificate I made a
"keystore.jks" and "truststore.jks"?

That he asked when I try to access by client too.

Short: I have a actual cerificate for my subdomain "om.abakusde".
I generate an email out of my room. Then I take another PC and open the
generated link. It opens (without a question - right), then I see
the grant for flash-access. I click to grant and then I get the question
if I want to accept the (expired) certificate from "abakus...de".

Without "om.".
So I think my OM uses the right subdomain with https, but the flash uses
not this.

Rene

blurred camera-picture

2017-11-26 Thread Rene Scholz

Hello,

today I have another look on my camera-stream and the shown video.

My camera has a native resolution of 1280x720 which is a 16:9-format.
When I add this (native) resolution to my OM-resolutions I get a picture
who is cutted on the top and the bottom.
I had added a resolution of 1280x960 (4:3) too. This resolution
"blurred" the picture (I look thinner - GOOD!).

But there I can see the whole picture - but blurred.

When you are brave enough you can see myself and the responded two
example-pictures with a mouseclick onto the follow links:

www.abakus-edv-systems.de/Res1280_960.jpg
www.abakus-edv-systems.de/Res1280_720.jpg
(It's me in the natural environment with a bottle of beer - a typical
german I think. :-)

If anybody has an idea what I can do to see the native resolution, but
the whole pciture?

BTW: My wife asked me today in which countries the other (active)
members of our group live.

If it's not a great secret I will be very happy if you can give me a hint.

How I can change to test the "new way"?

Re: https -> tcp6

2017-11-25 Thread Rene Scholz

Hello,

I solved my problem. It was not a problem with OM but with my eyes.

It's curious, you look ten times at the same word and then - hanky panky
- you see that there are characters in wrong order.

My mistake, no question.

Maybe anybody will help this:
At the moment I use letsencrypt-certificates on my server with a handful
of domains with a lot of subdomains.
As GUI I use Plesk and for the letsencrypt-certificates I use a Addin
for Plesk. This Addin will automatically update when it is time.

Nice!

One of the differences is that plesk store the certificates in other
pqath than /etc...

Here my step-by-step-manual
1.) delete (or rename) OM/conf/keystore.jks
delete (or rename) OM/conf/truststore.jks

Note:
Please replace "YOURDOMAIN" with the Domain-Name you want to use (I use
a subdomain)

Please replace "OM-DIRECTORY" with the directory where your OM is
You have to type three times the Password. Use "password".

2.)
cd /opt/"OM-DIRECTORY"/conf
openssl pkcs12 -export -in
/opt/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/live/"YOURDOMAIN"/cert.pem -inkey
/opt/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/live/"YOURDOMAIN"/privkey.pem -out
red5.p12 -name red5 -certfile
/opt/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/live/"YOURDOMAIN"/chain.pem
keytool -importkeystore -srcstorepass password -srckeystore red5.p12
-srcstoretype PKCS12 -deststorepass password -destkeystore keystore.jks
-alias red5
keytool -import -alias root -keystore keystore.jks -trustcacerts -file
/opt/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/live/om.abakus-progs.de/chain.pem
keytool -importkeystore -srckeystore keystore.jks -destkeystore
keystore.jks -deststoretype pkcs12

cp keystore.jks truststore.jks

I am not sure if the line
/keytool -importkeystore -srckeystore keystore.jks -destkeystore
keystore.jks -deststoretype pkcs12/
is really necessary. I get a appropriate notice so I search a solution.
Maybe it is not necessary, but it works in my case.

This evening I am one of the happiest creature on our planet!
(Tomorow I have a look on an automatically Update-Skript when the
certificates will extended.)

Tomorrow is a new day with new solutions.

With best regards,

Rene

Re: camera + microphone, and a new question: higher resolution

2017-11-08 Thread Rene Scholz

Hello,

I think it is a good idea if somebody can make a "receipt" to make OM
secured with a letsencrypt-certificate - I think it is complicated.

@Maxim: I try your idea with the OM-Demo. There I had selected my camera
and all look good.

After that I try my own version.
- I opened it (in HTTP),
- open a room,
- no camera to select, like before...
- I MAKE A MOUSECLICK IN THE PREVIEW WINDOW
- and get there the question if I want to give rights for flash.

Click Yes to grant and its functionally (Firefox, actual version.)

I dont know why, but I am sure that I try to click there before.

I think you wrote that the flash-access for camera and microphone is
replaced?

Followed by this I modify the VideoSettings.html to get a higher resolution.
I have two IP-Cams (with a driver between the cameras and OM).
The resolution is 1280x720px and  1920x1080.

When I select the resolution of 1024x768 I see the whole picture. (In
the right top corner I see the date and time.)
When I select my new resolution of 1280x720 the picture is not the whole
one. The date and time is away.
When I resize the video-window, try to give it the nearly correct aspect
ratio (16:9)  and click on the button to load new

I can see nearly the whole picture (include the date/time).

I think In "lower" resolution it automatically fit and scale into the
window. Where I can adjust that?

Rene

2017-09-12 Thread Rene Scholz

Hello,

a few weeks ago you are so friendly to told me where I can get the
source-code.

After some tries I had imported it succesfully in Eclipse, edited the
code and make a new jar-file.

But my "edit-and-make-jar" is a little bit complicated.

So I try to make a right-click on the top-point "openmeetimgs" in my
Package-Explorer and choose "Debug as..." - and have a great
questionmark in my face.

I dont know what I have to choose.

So I think about it:
- I think that my debug-environment need an underground who can
interpret HTML + PHP. Maybe a XAMPP on my Exclipse-PC?
- This XAMP must implement in Eclipse. And, I hope, when I start "Debug
as" I can give this to a new point in the list.

I know its certainly to simple but I try little steps who I understand.

Can somobody give me a hint what I have to do? Or where I think in the
wrong direction?

Is Eclipse a good choice or should I take Netbeans?

Puh! Headache.

With best regards,

Rene

Eclipse - but I get an error. After that I try to import the
unpacked zip-file in Eclipse. I see the openmeetings-structure but
when I try to make a jar I get errors that he miss a lot of things
(e.g. libaries). My idea is that I checkout with SVN. I hope that
I wil have then all needed files. Best regards, Rene Am 12.08.2017

Hello Rene,

This is impossible without code modification

The easiest way would be

1) add css class in roomsidebar.java class for non moderator

2) add css rule: display: none for this css selector

I want to hide the user-list for everyone (except the

Is it possible (and I only can't see the setting)?

Or I have to modify the source? Then I will deeply grateful
