CloudStack + XenDesktop

[Lv Haijiao]

Hi, Community

We are trying to implement XenDesktop 7.x on CloudStack 4.7.1+XenServer 6.5
for production use.

There are some tips shared by Citrix on CloudStack Collaboration Conference
2014,  it looks such a integration is immature yet at that time.

Has any team tried the latest XenDesktop running on latest CloudStack
recently ?  Piece of advice and experience would be highly appreciated !

Yea you need to install  password enabled script in your VM .

Password Enable

Hi,

 

I have vm that created using ISO. Then I create template from that vm,
adding password enable. I create another vm from the template. I saw when
creating vm complete it show password. After vm running, I try to use
password generate while install the vm. But the password that showing cannot
be use. Is it a bug?

How about KVM host? I'm running ACS and use KVM host. No xen or vmware.

Re: Xenserver 6.5 live migration with local volumes

Hi Remi,

For me it’s (migration across clusters with storage)  working fine but am on 
internal branch. There could be some regressions due to recent refactors. As 
far as this patch goes this handles with cluster case.
PR https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/pull/925 is no more valid after fixing 
of https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-9231. This patch handles 
the broken scenario.
