Failed to deploy VM Error

Hello All,

I have ACS 4.92 using Xenserver 6.5 , I faced a problem that I can't create new 
instance with error "Failed to deploy VM VM[User|"  , I searched for the log 
and I can't find the root cause  , can you please advice what is the problem , 
the job related for it as per below

Please note that there is enough resources to create the instance

Please find my comments as below 

while creating the zone first time, have correctly added all the traffic types 
to the first NIC ? yes , it's all labeled (public, guest and management ) with 
same label since its used the same network adapter 
Also have you mentioned the correct bridge name  (cloudbr0 / cloudbr1) for the 
traffic label ? where I should mention it 

What does your network /interface configuration look like? Can you please 
clarify your question please 

What ip subnet are you using for your management network, public network 
?management : 192.168.120.0/22 , public : 192.168.128.0/22 and guest : 
192.168.124.0/22

I have a case that I need to turn off instance in case that the instance 
utilization is 0%  for three days ( the instance is not used ) and destroy the 
instance if its stopped more than 7 days .

Is there any automated way to do like this case (like Ansible) , I believe that 
auto scaling while handle turn off instance , but I need another solution

Host Disconnected after upgrade to ACS 4.9.2

Hello All,

I Have a ACS version 4.8 with xenserver 6.5 and after upgrade ACS to 4.9.2.0 
All hosts appear in disconnect state I checked the logs and I found the below 
error for all hosts

Basic And advanced Zone Copy templates

Hello All,

I have a basic zone that working normally , I created another advanced zone , 
once completed the system VMS are up and running , I tried to create a VM and 
error appear related for system Vm for virtual router(can' create it) , I 
checked the system Vm templates in the new advanced zone and its not downloaded 
(not ready ) tried to copy it using API with error (HTTP Server returned 403 
(expected 200 OK) I searched for and found that he system VMs should contact 
each either using private ip address not public ip address , please advise how 
can I resolve this issue .

Please note that the basic zone its have the same subnet and gateway for guest 
and public ips also my setup is xenserver 6.5 with ACS 4.8

use. Cannot delete this vlan ) can I remove it from DB if yes , can you please

If you don’t explicitly need it, you can try to delete it and then try deleting 
the ip range. Hopefully it’ll succeed.

xenservers its working normally 
2-the instances accessible only when I stop the iptables from xenservers
2- I installed open manage in the servers (Manage hardware for Dell servers) 
that need changes from iptables )

When you mounted the NFS share in XenCentre did you check if you could 
write to it? (you can test this from command line on the XenServer)?

One other thing to check is the /var/log/SMLog file on the XenServer in 
question.

The SR_BACKEND_FAILURE_61 is returned by xapi on your XenServers – and 
together with the “fail to mount FileSR” error this basically looks like you 
have some environmental issue outside CloudStack, i.e. between your XenServer 
and the NFS secondary storage head. First of all check network connectivity 
between the two. If this is OK check the permissions / ACLs set on your NFS 
share – chances are the XenServer IP is not permitted. You can also try to just 
temporarily mount the NFS share directly from the XenServer / XenCentre 
(remember to unmount it later before putting it back into production) and see 
if you can access the share.

When you mounted the NFS share in XenCentre did you check if you could 
write to it? (you can test this from command line on the XenServer)?

One other thing to check is the /var/log/SMLog file on the XenServer in 
question.

The SR_BACKEND_FAILURE_61 is returned by xapi on your XenServers – and 
together with the “fail to mount FileSR” error this basically looks like you 
have some environmental issue outside CloudStack, i.e. between your XenServer 
and the NFS secondary storage head. First of all check network connectivity 
between the two. If this is OK check the permissions / ACLs set on your NFS 
share – chances are the XenServer IP is not permitted. You can also try to just 
temporarily mount the NFS share directly from the XenServer / XenCentre 
(remember to unmount it later before putting it back into production) and see 
if you can access the share.

I tested the write in NFS and its working normally , and for the SMLog I didn't 
found such log file

Templates inside Primary storage

Cloud stack copy templates from secondary storage to primary storage for the 
running instances , is there any option to remove (or not keeping it at all )  
the template form primary storage ? if not  is it ok if I deleted the template 
from primary storage manually  ?

HA in management and DB For CLOUDstack

I have two sites that connected together using VPN  and I need to create on 
each office one management and DB server, is it applicable to create each site 
DB server with replication to the other one and each Management server connect 
to the DB that its exist in the same site (each site have their management and 
DB server with DB replication between each other )  ?

Problem in Agent for system VM

I installed Apache Cloud stack on my environment but after that i have multiple 
problems on it as per below :
1- Virtual router not created 2-system VMs (CPVM and SSVM) is running but the 
agent in the UI is not running , i used health check in SSVM 
(/usr/local/cloud/systemvm/ssvm-check.sh) and everything is appear running 
normally , but i checked the cloud.log  but i founded the error that as below :
