Hi Paul,

Installer should download on windows zip from that page [1]. That zip
should match to md5 website.

yup, don't match.

MD5 doesn't verify against

in fact the zip file won't open in winZip, corrupted i guess. i'll try deleting
all that cache & re-running the install.

I've just started the SDK installation on my Windows 7 machine which is a
company machine.
Unfortunately, the virus scanner stops the installation process cause it
founds some security policy violations... for whatever reason.
Cause it's a company machine I can't influence that... I have to speak with
the guys from our support department next week.

(The installer starts without any problems).

Thanks,

Paul,

I don't remember if the installer leaves the download around, but maybe
you can run your own MD5 on it and see if it matches the MD5 on our
distribution server [1]. Also check your installer.log to see which
mirror was used. Sometimes a mirror can get a bad copy.

Alex,

No. Powershell is being used only for unzipping and downloading when we are
using ant on air.
Powershell command for checking MD5 is GET-FILEHASH "path to file"
-Algorithm MD5

Thanks, Piotr

2017-11-24 Thread Alex Harui
Piotr,

Did the MD5 check become a Powershell command? Can you tell Paul what the
command line is so we can see if maybe if he gets a different format than
we expected?

Thanks,

thanks.

i just re-tried, disabling the d/l file cache, same result.

flexJS installs also fail (last few lines of install log):

the "Need file: ${still_no_file}" started displaying almost immediately, not
sure if it was waiting on a single file the whole time or its a placeholder for
several files but it showed early & often.

3.2 installer worked fien for flex 4.16 & flexJS 0.8. this is really the first
time i've ever had serious problems w/the flex installer, guess i was due ;-)

thanks again.

Hi Paul,

Not sure what is happening. I will try today evening on my windows 7
install it. I just tried on Windows 10 and everything goes smooth.

Thanks, Piotr

Hi Maxim,

I doubt that I found time soon to explore that part. You are welcome to do
this.

It's recommended you install the Apache Flex SDK by using the Apache Flex
SDK installer 3.3.0:
http://flex.apache.org/installer.html

3.3 installer on windows 7 is breaking:

Verifying Apache Flex SDK MD5 Signature
The Apache Flex SDK MD5 Signature of the downloaded files does not match the
reference value. The file is invalid, installation is aborted.
Installation aborted:
http://flex.apache.org/track-installer.html?failure=true=Apache Flex SDK
4.16.1=4.16.1=windows=3.3.0=The Apache Flex SDK
MD5 Signature of the downloaded files does not match the reference value. The
file is invalid, installation is aborted.

any suggestions?
