[libreoffice-users] computer network pictures

2013-05-16 Thread Mihamina Rakotomandimby

Hi all,

My collegues asked me to draw a network server topology.
They would like more sexy pictucres than rectangles and circles:

Would you have a Drawing template to have nice computer network
pictures?

[libreoffice-users] predefined text to paste / insert

2012-05-02 Thread Mihamina Rakotomandimby

Hi all,

I'm editing a document and need to get some predefined text to insert.

For example, I have many {code}, {note}, {section}, {header} to
isert inline the document I'm editing.

For those who know, I'm editing a Confluence Wiki page over WebDav.

How to store a string to paste in a key combo?

Dont worry, I'm used to Emacs when coding, so kamasutra combos dont
scare me.

Ok... Let me explain, as you seem brain dead:

1°) On
http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.comp.documentfoundation.libreoffice.user,
you'll find a link saying: Using an NNTP newsreader.

2°) pass you mouse over that link and carefully look at the target URL
nntp://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.documentfoundation.libreoffice.user

that means:
- NNTP protocol
- NNTP server: news.gmane.org
- Group name in that server: gmane.comp.documentfoundation.libreoffice.user

I wish it's clearer... Otherwise, you should tone down and ask for basic
help on using internet.

[libreoffice-users] cstom list bullet not export to .doc

2011-09-05 Thread Mihamina Rakotomandimby

Hi all,

I write a document with LO 3.4.2 (Ubuntu Oneiric).

To have a custom bullet like this:
http://www.zimagez.com/zimage/screenshot-09052011-051412pm.php

I made it this way:
- I set the style to List 1 cont.
- I set the background of List 1 cont. to a graphic and select the
  desired graphic from the filesystem
- I indent the first line of List 1 cont.

Working quite well as far as I work with .odt file format.

If I try to save the document as .doc (2000/XP), then read it with an
MS Office 2010 Word, the indentation is OK but no background (no custom
bullet, just a blank gap).

How to setup a custom list bullet then export it to .doc (2000/XP)?

PS: exporting to .docx makes me run into this known bug
http://is.gd/P2jBZp when opening with MS Office 2010 so I fall back to
saving to .doc until it's solved.

Thank you.
