Open Office feedback -- very important to me

2019-05-13 Thread Diane A Richardson
Good Afternoon,

As you can see I use OpenOffice -- budget-master.com -- but it was a very big
struggle for me because I am vision impaired and cannot see black lettering
inside dark blue buttons, even with a magnifying glass, so it was trial an
error.

And I will probable stop using it now because of this problem. If you change
the lettering to white or yellow or use a lighter colored buttons I think that
would work.

Sincerely,

Diane Richardson

(Due to vision problems that cannot be fixed, I apologize in advance for any
errors in grammar or spelling. Please feel free to make corrections.)

Karen,

What type of file are you printing?

Have you restarted your computer after updating the printer control files?

2019-05-13 Thread Steven Ahlers
How are you trying to open the PP files? (Double clicking, Right click or
control click and then choosing Open, Starting OpenOffice then selecting file
to open from directory, Starting OpenOffice then selecting from Recent file,
some other manor)

What error message/notification are you getting?

Was windows updated recently?

Re: I cannot open PowerPoint presentations

2019-05-13 Thread chuck ef
You don't say what exactly you did, but did you try "Open with," or whatever it
is called on the Windows side? Open Office should come up as an option.

I have never had a problem opening Microsoft Office files that way.

Re: bedingte formatierung

2019-05-13 Thread Detlef Nannen
Hallo,

in B1 die 2 Bedingungen erstellen wie gewünscht, Inhalt 0 0 dann red,
wenn 1 = green (ich habe die Feldvorlagen red und green zum testen
erstellt)
Bedingte Formatierung in A1 (auch 2 Bedingungen erstellen)
Bedingung 1: Formel ist ($Tabelle1.$B$1)=0, dann Vorlage = red
Bedingung 2. Formel ist ($Tabelle1.$B$1)=1, dann Votlage = green

Hier klappt es, viele Erfolg.

Try renaming your OO user profile.

If you are using Windows close OpenOffice and the Quickstarter. Open File
Explorer. Copy and paste %appdata%\OpenOffice\4 in the File Explorer (sometimes
called Windows Explorer)
Address Bar and press Enter. Rename the "user" folder - "user.old" is a good
choice. Start OpenOffice.

This cures most spellcheck problems.

This happens usually because you power off your computer too hastily or close
the laptop lid, before the internal buffers of the hard drive have flushed to
the disks.
