Open Office feedback -- very important to me
Good Afternoon, As you can see I use OpenOffice -- budget-master.com -- but it was a very big struggle for me because I am vision impaired and cannot see black lettering inside dark blue buttons, even with a magnifying glass, so it was trial an error. And I will probable stop using it now because of this problem. If you change the lettering to white or yellow or use a lighter colored buttons I think that would work. Please feel free to make corrections.)

Karen, What type of file are you printing? Have you restarted your computer after updating the printer control files? Re: I cannot open PowerPoint presentations
How are you trying to open the PP files? (Double clicking, Right click or control click and then choosing Open, Starting OpenOffice then selecting file to open from directory, Starting OpenOffice then selecting from Recent file, some other manor) What error message/notification are you getting? Was windows updated recently? Please reply to: users@openoffice.apache.org so that others can help you. Re: I cannot open PowerPoint presentations
You don't say what exactly you did, but did you try "Open with," or whatever it is called on the Windows side? Open Office should come up as an option. I have never had a problem opening Microsoft Office files that way. Re: bedingte formatierung
If you are using Windows close OpenOffice and the Quickstarter. Open File Explorer. Copy and paste %appdata%\OpenOffice\4 in the File Explorer (sometimes called Windows Explorer) Address Bar and press Enter. Rename the "user" folder - "user.old" is a good choice. Start OpenOffice. This cures most spellcheck problems. This happens usually because you power off your computer too hastily or close the laptop lid, before the internal buffers of the hard drive have flushed to the disks. -- -- Rory O'Farrell - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org
