Writer horizontal scroll bar color
Hi there I have a friend who has macula degeneration. He uses OpenOffice Writer and finds it difficult to pick up the horizontal scroll bar where the surroundings are much the same buff colour as the bar. He has 2 large monitors, one showing normal magnification and the other at 700%. He has made a document as his diary which comprises many pages in horizontal format. Hence the need to go backwards and forwards to the various pages using the bar. I have searched the Internet for some way to change the bar colour to say red or something striking to make it easy for him. I have had no luck. Is there a simple way to change the bar's color? Question about embedding fonts in Open Office
Hi, thanks for all you do! I just have a question about Open Office. I want to share an rtf written file, and I know I mustn’t embed fonts unless I am sure they are ok to embed. Are fonts automatically embedded on an RTF file or is this not an issue? Also, if I export a document to be a PDF, do the fonts have to be embedded or is there a way I can prevent them from being embedded? I basically want to share a file, ideally as a PDF, without embedding any fonts that aren’t licensed to be embedded. Thanks so much! Caroline

Hallo! Gestern habe ich ein Anmeldeformular sowohl als Excel als auch als Calc (OO) bekommen. Beide kann ich problemlos öffnen doch sind sie schreibgeschützt. Mir gelingt es nicht den Schreibschutz aufzuheben bzw. den richtigen Button dafür zu finden. Ist es überhaupt möglich, vom Sender irrtümlich mit Schreibschutz versehene Formulare zu bearbeiten?
