I migrated the engin on a F19 and reimported the db so I'm ok
So I'playing with F20 to see if it may run as node but have this
error on vdsm

[ovirt-users] Sizing Recommendations For oVirt+Gluster
I am planning on doing a small-scale oVirt setup to prepare for a larger deployment at $JOB. I've looked over the mailing list and done some research via Google, but I am having trouble getting a sizing recommendation for what I want to do. I plan to run 8-10 VMs, each with 1-2 GB RAM and 1 or 2 virtual processors. On the storage side, I have 4.5 TB of various media that I would like to make available along side VM storage, the bulk of which is non-compressable Nikon NEFs. I was looking at a pair of servers: Quad-core Xeon's with HyperThreading, 32 GB of RAM, quad gigE Intel NICs. I have 8 2TB SATA hard drives and 6 750GB SATA hard drives to spread between the servers. I know it's possible to run the gluster storage on the same nodes that oVirt VMs are running, but I am wondering if this is wise, with the load I'm suggesting and the server specs I've outlined here. Ideally, if either node has to be taken down, I'd like to be able to move/migrate all the VMs to the other node, do the maintenance needed, and bring the node back online. Hi Morten, My understanding of thin disks on a block domain is that vdsm traps ENOSPC on the thin lv and uses the mailbox to get the SPM to extend it. See a presentation by Nir http://www.ovirt.org/File:Storage-mailbox.odp I thought I saw somewhere there were some changes/bugs around that for allowing mixed data centers (both block and file domains). ...just looked now and this bz looks relevant https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1083476 So maybe you could check the engine logs and spm logs for that flow (sorry I can't tell you any specifics about what you should look for ) -John On Fri, May 16, 2014 at 1:54 AM, Morten A. adding federico since I think he can probably add more info here. when we use thin provisionining we have to extend the disk during writing (it's set to do that every 2GB I think). during extend the vm pauses and resumes. However, this action should not be noticeable by the vm user. Does the vm pause and resumes or pauses completely? is it noticeable by the vm user? Hi guys, I'm doing an urgent ovirt upgrade from 3.2(dreyou) to 3.4 (official) but I see that www.jpackage.org is down. I've managed to install jboss-as-7.1.1-11.el6.x86_64 from another location, however I'm not sure if this will be compatible with 3.4, as per the instructions from http://wiki.dreyou.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=ovirt_rpm_start33; I've tested browsing to the site on two different internet links, as well as from the remote server but I'm just getting... RepoError: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: ovirt-jpackage-6.0-generic. Please verify its path and try again Can I go ahead and attempt the upgrade using 7.1.1-11?
