Thank you Yedidyah, Let me clearify it more that i have 2 ovirt nodes in a cluster. Ovirt engine is on seperate machine on vmware workstation. Now i want to move this ovirt engine to one of my nodes (which are in a cluster). I need help with the above so that i could complete my task. Thanks in advance! Use engine-backup 2. It's a hosted-engine and you want to migrate the engine vm to another host? You can use the gui and migrate it like any other vm 3. Something else? I did the installation with windows 7 and i have installed the ovirt-tools-setup via the iso and everything is OK. The simple way is to install ovirt-guest-tools-iso on the hosted-engine and then get the iso to put on your ISO domain. After that just put this iso on the cdrom of the windows 7 VM and execute ovirt-guest-tools-setup. Hi, If you are looking for VM image backup, you may have a look at Open Bacchus https://github.com/openbacchus/bacchus Bacchus is backing up VMs using the oVirt python api and final image will reside on the Export domain (which is an NFS share or glusterfs) in your environment. It does not support moving the images to tapes at the moment. You need to use another tool to stage your backups to tape. Hope this helps.
