No, but you can move all events you like to a new calendar and share that.

i know it should be a client feature to hide tasks but its currently not
implemented in thunderbird and a events only caldav url would be
 nice-to-have.

You can also move all tasks to a new calendar and use the original
calendar for events only.
With this approach you can switch visibility of tasks as you like in
every client.

Re: [SOGo] Proxy Error when opening Preferences under 1.3.7

2011-07-14 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Bonjour,

Le vendredi 08 juillet 2011, Sven Slezák a écrit...

Everything is working fine, but when I open the Preferences window I get a
Proxy Error - The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream
 server.

How can I debug this problem?

I use Forward and Vacation and added the sieve server to my defaults:
 SOGoSieveServer sieve://localhost:2000

The sieve-server is running in my dovecot setup.

Is sieve really listening on port 2000 ?

You could also change the privacy of your tasks (say, Private) and remove all
access rights to private events/tasks for this calendar.

[SOGo] ldap sync sogo users

2011-07-14 Thread Ronald J. Yacketta

Hello all,

During our testing we noticed that meeting invites sent to a LDAP user
who has never accessed sogo does not receive those events. For example,
LDAP/sogo user Foo invites Bar who is in LDAP but not SOGo to a meeting
, Bar who has never used sogo will not receive event. I have tested this
with several LDAP test accounts we have and in each and every case the
test user never received the event upon logging in for the first time.

Does SOGo require 'SOGoAppointmentSendEMailNotifications' to be enabled
in-order to function properly? If not, then is there a way to
pre-populate SOGo with LDAP users or another option for first time users
to receive events upon logging in?

[SOGo] SOGo and funambol connector

2011-07-14 Thread Simon Veit
Hello,
I'm trying to set up SOGo with funambol.
I already managed to set up funambol so that I can connect to it with
the desktop admin program,
I also managed to get SOGo working (without funambol).

My problem is that SOGo connector for funambol doesn't seem to work.
When using the funambol webdemo (or trying to sync from my Nokia N97)
I get the message Authentication failed. Please try again..
I'm using funambol 10.0.2 and the 1.0.9-connector.

ls -la tools/tomcat/lib/comm*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 575389 Apr 11  2008
tools/tomcat/lib/commons-collections-3.2.1.jar
-rw-rw-rw- 1 user root 298829 Dec 19  2008
tools/tomcat/lib/commons-configuration-1.6.jar
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 284220 Jan 14 00:06 tools/tomcat/lib/commons-lang-2.6.jar
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root  60841 Nov 22  2007
tools/tomcat/lib/commons-logging-1.1.1.jar
ls -la tools/tomcat/lib/jso*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 14435 Feb 16  2009 tools/tomcat/lib/json_simple.jar
and:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root  787920 Jul 14 23:15 mysql-connector-java-5.1.17-bin.jar
I also set up the SOGo Officer in the admin interface and set it to
port 2 on which SOGod is running:
netstat -nlp | grep sogo
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:2           0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN      7807/sogod

What am I missing?

Yours,
Simon
