Re[2]: [SOGo] emails stuck in outbox with exchange mode

2011-10-31 Thread Pavlo Zajichenko
I have the same problem with SOGo 2.0.0b2.

All outgoing messages sent from Windows 7 (64bit) with Outlook 2003 stuck in
the Outbox folder.
Going offline with the Outlook and again online does not work. Samba on the
server does not crash.

When the same user profile used on Windows XP (32bit) all messages sent without
problems.

The problem is not user profile specific and occurs for any user profile (event
for newly created).

[SOGo] CalDAV and iOS5

2011-10-31 Thread Christian Roessner
Hi,

I am using several iPhones with SOGo. We had the 4th iOS version on the
smartphones, but two of us upgraded to iOS5. This broke our calendars.
We all have at least two calendars. The problem show up in that way that
we do not see all of our calendars. In my case, I have the standard
calendar and a calendar called Test. After updateing I only get the Test
calendar.

Even disabling the CalDAV calendar in the settings menu and reactivating
it, does not solve the problem.

I waited for 1.3.9, as the problem arised with an earlier version. But
today I upgraded to 1.3.9 and the problem persists.

What kind of information could be needed to get help on this here :-) ?

Thanks in advance

Absolutely not.
Modal browser windows will block me from doing effective work.
I often have to cross check different SOGo Instances and display one

Don't know if that was to much.
Are there any recommended defaults for postgres shared memory,

Some more data on this. I had these entries in the log ever 5-10 min.

Oct 31 12:40:08 sogod [26706]: |SOGo| terminating app, vMem size limit
(384 MB) has been reached (currently 623 MB)

They are normal as far as I understand. But every 5-10 min? I raised the
the limit to 512 MB and since then none of those entries.
Could it be the switch from 32bit to 64bit OS? I had a similar problem
once with OpenGroupware were I hate to raise this limit switching to 64bit.

[SOGo] I killed my 1.39 install

2011-10-31 Thread Jeff Folk
I was initially having the problem of a fouled web interface, and corrected the
woa paths to /usr/lib/GNUstep/SOGo/WebServerResources/

This allowed the web part to work again, but calendars and contact details were
empty due to a lookup failure or proxy failure... I thought I saw another mail
in the thread that mentioned incorrect sope49 versions, so I yum removed all
the sope and re installed them through yum.

Now I have the problem of sogod terminating immediately and leaving a stale pid
file. There is no entry in sogo.log, but messages gets the following line every
time sogod is started:

sogod[some number] unable to get status of descriptor 2 - Bad file descriptor

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this, it was almost working fine before I
removed and reinstalled? I'm on CentOS 5 (SME Server 8b6).

Thanks in advance;

Don't know if that was to much.
Might not be too much but if your 5 sogod processes where busy
returning data to Thunderbird (which is quite slow btw, because it
instantiates a card object and commits it back to the local store on
each received card), the SOGo watchdog wouldn't like this too much and
it might consider those processes as dead ones after 5 minutes and start
killing those. Also, this would block entirely other requests from being
processed - as they would be queued by the master process.

 Absolutely not.
Modal browser windows will block me from doing effective work.
I often have to cross check different SOGo Instances and display one
 email in different variants.
E.g. displaying different message sources and/or multiple messages in
own windows and/or writing of new message, while checking prefences.

And I don't see the benefit of it.

Only the standard javascript methods alert, prompt and confirm were
 replaced my modal/CSS windows.

There's no intention to replace the email composition popup window or
preferences popup window by a CSS-based modal window!

Great!

Thanks Francis.

[SOGo] Time offset in some events when exporting calendar to public

2011-10-31 Thread Philip Brechler
Hi,

We export some of our calendars to the public. It works fine but some of the
events have a time offset of minus one hour, this seems to happen on random.
Any ideas? My sogo timezone is set to Europe/Berlin.

Are you sure you've correctly configured your SOGo.conf Apache
configuration file?

You have in there:

RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-port 443
RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-name myserver
RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-url https://myserver;

Perhaps you've anonymized the file before sending it but if you're using
HTTP (port 80) when accessing SOGo and then, upon login, it redirects
you to HTTPS (port 443) and your server is dropping that traffic, you'll
get nowhere.
