Re: [SOGo] [OT] Casifying IMAP
hello,Federico yes i'm using Cas server for authentication... i can open session on Sogo, but can't see my mailbox (Maidlir) problem with authentication on Dovecot/imap, i've configure pam_cas et dovecot but nothing working... regards On 05/07/12 18:27, oo...@front.ru wrote: I have done Dovecot and Exim authentication by built-in Samba LDAP backend without any others LDAP servers. At least It authenticates users with passwords = its login names, for users with its password != its login names authentication is failed. I don' t know yet why. But there are some other issues / bugs with SOGo / Openchange / Samba beta1 with Dovecot in way of IMAP. You can read my posts in mailing list here and in SOGo bug tracking system. Sorry, but I don't understand. Are you using a CAS server for authentication?. I am using SOGo 1.3.16 without Outlook/Openchange backend and can't authenticate dovecot with CAS server using SOGo as CAS proxy. As Inverse guys did lot of work on multiple domain support in the nighties it is maybe some hint to improve this support. According to my, a feature like a ldap field SIEVEHostFielName or a key like ForceSieveSameAsImap should be very very interresting. bests regards On 10-12-21 2:55 PM, Louis-Philippe Gauthier wrote: Hi, On Debian server, with SOGo 1.3.4, I get this error message : 127.0.0.1 - - [21/Dec/2010:09:18:29 GMT] GET /SOGo/so/gauthierlp/preferences HTTP/1.1 200 14783/0 0.113 59488 75% 3M EXCEPTION: NGCouldNotConnectException: 0x9bc7218 NAME:NGCouldNotConnectException REASON:Could not connect to address 0x0x9c3bf78[NGInternetSocketAddress]: host=localhost port=2000: connection refused INFO:(:(nil) We don't have Cyrus on SOGo server. Everything works fine. But, we use LDAP with the IMAPHostFieldName = mailHost in the SOGoUserSources to define the user's IMAP server and we can not hardcode the SOGoSieveServer parameter. Can I tell SOGo to use mailHost for Sieve Server ? No, not right now. This could be added quite trivially.
