So far I get some conversation between my iPhone 4S and the sogosync stuff.

I dived a little bit deeper. It seems, something does not work with TLS. Can
somebody confirm this from my tshark output (attached)? What would I have to
change in Apache (Ubuntu 12.04) to get the iPhone working? It seems that the
Exchange connection works differently than regular https. If I open Safari and
go to https://www.roessner-net.de everything works as expected. I have
installed the CA on the device. So I guess it has to do with ciphers and that
the server and the device can not agree to a common cipher spec.

Thanks in advance

Hi Sven,

thanks for your response. This may be a solution - I should discuss this with the FreeBSD ports team (I am about creating a SOGo port for FreeBSD).

Kind regards,
Matthias

Re: [SOGo] Problems with synchronization between SOGo and Outlook using Funambol – national characters

2012-09-17 Thread mkminek
Hello,

I made several new attempts to solve the quoted printable problem. I updated
Funambol with the new Funambol SOGo Connector v1.0.9 but I still face the same
problem. I even tried to replace the embeded Java runtime with the latest
System version(on Cent OS 6.3) but the problem remains. Just shortly describe
the problem. The problem appears when using the built-in calendar on Windows
Mobile device or in MS Outlook in conjuction with funambol sync. If I create an
event containing some national chracters(from Czech language) and synchronize
it using Funambol to SOGo I can see in ds-server.log

SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE;CHARSET=UTF-8:=C5=A1=C4=8D=C5=99

=C5=A1 =C4=8D =C5=99 are š č ř

after synchronization I can see in the database š??, last two characters were
not correctly converted and were replaced by ?

If I again synchronize the calendar the damaged event gets back, ds-server.log
shows:

SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE;CHARSET=UTF-8:=C5=A1??

? remains ?, last two national characters are lost. It's weird because some
characters are correctly converted and some don't

Can you help me where the conversion between Quoted Printable and UTF-8 is done
before inserting into database ? Is it the Funambol SOGo Connector or any other
Funambol part. Just to mention - I don't program in Java.

Thanks

I am completely stuck. It is not an TLS issue as I see data in the log files.
If the handshake would have fallen, I would see nothing. So the script itself
is working.

I changed my username and added it to the config.php user array. I created the
file /var/log/z-push/croessner.log and gave correct permissions (I think). But
nothing is written to the log file.

Even in the z-push.log file itself, I can not see any backend activity. As I
looked into the backend php files, shouldn't there be any lines concerning
smething like Logon-XYZ or so?

Can someone help me? What information is required?

Thanks in advance

  How can I solve that.

I suspect OS X 10.8. It requires investigation.

Me too. I'm not sure but I almost sure we got only one MacOS X 10.8 at this
moment. And when this user connect he's laptop I got instantly a load of 2

10.8 and ical.

Any help is welcome because with two MacoSX I'm going need 2 servers, and
with 10 users I'm going to need to buy Facebook datacenter ;-)

How can I change the configuration to got smaller log file.

Remove SoSecurityManagerDebugEnabled or set it to NO.

Thanks.
