Re: [SOGo] Active Sync Support
hai, i was install sogo-activesync from SOGo nightly repo and sogo version 2.1.2, then i try sync with my android, result is calendar sync succesfully, personal contact sync successfully but email cannot sync. this is my imap when i connect thru cli : [CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 LITERAL+ SASL-IR LOGIN-REFERRALS ID ENABLE IDLE *SORT* SORT=DISPLAY THREAD=REFERENCES THREAD=REFS MULTIAPPEND UNSELECT CHILDREN NAMESPACE *UIDPLUS* LIST-EXTENDED I18NLEVEL=1 CONDSTORE *QRESYNC* ESEARCH ESORT SEARCHRES WITHIN CONTEXT=SEARCH LIST-STATUS QUOTA] Logged in please give me some advice. On 22/01/2014 1:01, Ludovic Marcotte wrote: Hello, The current nightly builds of SOGo offer Active Sync support. To enable it, simply add the following line to your Apache configuration: ProxyPass /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync retry=0 You'll also have to make sure you run the latest SOPE packages, and you install the sogo-activesync package. If you want email synchronization to work properly, your IMAP server must have the UIDPLUS, SORT and QRESYNC extensions enabled. Most of the stuff should work pretty well, but we're now in the final stages of development and testing, which include: 1. event invitations 2. recurring events 3. Outlook 2013 support 4. handle all contact/email/event/task properties Full support will be included in SOGo v2.2 - expected to be released by the end of the month. [SOGo] Long Mail Log file

[SOGo] sharing rigths on calendar
Hello, I have problems with sharing rights on the calendar. Here is the scenario: John Doe has a shared calendar with his assistant. It gives him only the right to add an event because he did not want his assistant delete or edit events that he himself created. With this setting, the assistant can add an event, but once created it can not modify or delete some error. It would be desirable that the assistant can modify or delete events that he added to the calendar of John Doe. Is it possible that the assistant has full control of events added to the calendar of John Doe and if so how do ? -- Ben -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Hi, this has nothing to do with SOGo. It seems SME was shipped badly configured. To add that functionality yourself please take a look at „logrotate“. e.g. http://linux.die.net/man/8/logrotate and http://abdussamad.com/archives/541-Log-rotation-in-CentOS-Linux.html Regards Georg Am 23.01.2014 um 03:16 schrieb Sogo Thailand a...@eicm.co.th: Hi all, My mail log file is very long and it takes long time to see the last line. Are you saying there is currently no open enhancement request for this? In my opinion this is extremely valuable functionality for Shared Calendars with multiple users involved. Currently, the only way to achieve this behavior is the same way we were doing it with Google Calendars... the Shared Calendar is set up to auto-accept 'invites' for events from specific users (or all users), then the person who added the event 'by invite' can manage (modify or delete) their events, because they are on both their personal and the Shared Calendar. But this is only a workaround... SOGo badly needs built-in capability for individual users to be able to directly add and manage events to shared calendars, but NOT be able to manage anything added by other users. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Re: [SOGo] sharing rigths on calendar
To overcome this limitation you could do one or both of the following: - Set the following properties on your calendar: Receive a mail when someone else modifies my calendar, so in case of delete action, owner will be informed. - Assistant has access to create and edit. So, assistant can rename the Event to: TO DELETE: Old event name..., and move it late in the day e.g. 21h; and inform the calendar owner to delete the event entry. This is how we are doing for some cases. [SOGo] sogo apt repository breaking sssd on wheezy (libldb1)
Hi all, On a test machine I'm running wheezy with samba4/sssd. I wanted to test SOGo authentication etc, so i added the regular sogo repository. Then (without yet installing sogo) I do apt-get update apt-get upgrade, and: root@debian72:/var/www# apt-get upgrade Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done The following packages will be upgraded: libldb1 libtevent0 2 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 167 kB of archives. If I run these two updates, I end up with a newer version of libldb1 (1:1.1.13-1 vs 1:1.1.6-1) which basically breaks the stock sssd: root@debian72:/etc# /etc/init.d/sssd restart ldb: module version mismatch in ../src/ldb_modules/memberof.c : ldb_version=1.1.13 module_version=1.1.6 ldb: failed to initialise module /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ldb/modules/ldb/memberof.so : Unavailable [FAIL] Starting System Security Services Daemon: sssd failed! root@debian72:/etc# So I don't know if this is a bug that should be added to bugzilla (let me know if I should do this) but I'm sending this here mainly as a heads-up to all of you. Re: [SOGo] sharing rigths on calendar
Maybe I'm missing something, but why not have two calendars? John Doe has his 'own' calendar and then a second one that his assistant schedules. His assistant has full access to that calendar, but only read access to his other calender. John Doe has SOGo/T-bird whatever look at both calenders to see when he is free, etc, but events he creates in his 'own' calendar cannot be modified by his assistant, but the assistant has full control over the second calendar. It would work of course (but, how would I 'tell Thunderbird to check both calendars for free/busy times?), but it is much more complicated than simply adding a new feature to SOGo that adds an 'owner' attribute to calendar items, and provides the ability to allow event/item *owners* to fully control their own items/events, but not others. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

We have a number of email accounts that are used by multiple people. Each of these users have these accounts configured in Thunderbird. Will this be a problem? Does Integrator not support multiple email accounts in Thunderbird? Or does it just use the first one as the 'primary'? Is this question documented and expanded on anywhere?
