[SOGo] Outlook 2013 ActiveSync - wrong IMAP user name
Hello. I'm trying to get Outlook 2013 working over ActiveSync. The IMAP server allows logging in with the E-mail address or the Kerberos user name (first.last in my case.) But when I try to use ActiveSync with either of those, it attempts to log in to IMAP with imaps://first%20l...@mail.example.com/ as seen in the SOGo log. Logging in to SOGo from the Web interface (using either Email address or user name thanks to my LDAP settings) accesses the E-mail just fine, so why is it not using the user name I specified in the ActiveSync setup wizard but the CN instead? [SOGo] iCal reminders
Hello, I have a problem with iCal (Calendar.app) reminders. This application seem to use some unsupported notifications types. There is two reminders types in iCal: Message and Message with sound. If the user just select something like alert 15 minutes before, the reminder type by default is Message with sound. With Message with sound reminders, reminders are not displayed on Web UI and Lightning (no little alarm icon - and no reminder at time) but I see them on my Android device (stock calendar app with caldav-sync connector). With Message reminder, reminders are not displayed on Web UI but I see them with Lightning and Android device. How iCal users are dealing with that? Is it a bug in SOGo/Lightning or a bug with iCal that is using not standard notifications? Or, would I need to change 'user_pref' to just 'pref' (like the other entries already in there), like this: pref(extensions.{e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103}.update.enabled, false); ? Last - can I push out other config options that I am setting in the user.js file in the same way, thus doing away completely with the user.js file, quickly and easily pushing out pref changes this way? -- *Marcio Merlone* -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Outlook 2013 Active Sync and Shared Calendars
Hi, Is it possible to use shared calendars in Outlook 2013 with Active Sync? In other words, can I attach other users’s calendar that has been shared with me to my Outlook Calendar view? First of all, over ActiveSync, we currently only send over the personal calendar and personal address book. This limitation will be removed soon (quite an easy fix). Once we do that, additional personal collections and ones shared (and subscribed too) will be exposed over ActiveSync - so clients can also consume the data from them. We'll enforce ACL at the server level when offering them. Outlook 2013 (and other AS clients) will likely allow you to modify locally the data even if you aren't allowed, but the server will reject the modifications and tell the client to sync the data back - reverting to the server's copy. AFAIK, there's no concept of sharing/delegation/ACLs with ActiveSync. -- Ludovic Marcotte lmarco...@inverse.ca :: +1.514.755.3630 :: http://inverse.ca Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (http://sogo.nu) and PacketFence (http://packetfence.org) -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

This is documented in http://www.sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGo%20Mozilla%20Thunderbird%20Configuration.pdf : Settings that pushed are pushed *during initial configuration* are controlled by the ./defaults/preferences/site.js fle from SOGo Integrator. Preferences that *are forced upon every restart* of Thunderbird are controlled from the ./chrome/content/general/custom-preferences.js confguration file. Ah, missed that... thanks Ludovic! Any idea to fix my problem ? Hello, You need to edit /etc/apache2/conf.d/SOGo.conf. Search: Order deny, allow Allow from all Replace by: Require all granted Then reload your apache.
