[SOGo] can't manage Users folders ACLs from the Administration section since last update
Hello, Since the last sogo update ( v2.2.5 to v2.2.7), I can't manage Users folders ACLs from the Administration section... When I type the name of any user in the search field at the top of the window, the user is displayed but all I can see is a calendar named [{''owner, and nothing else... I have made an update of sogo and sope... I changed wowworkercount from 3 to 5 because In the sogo.log I have see the following error No child available to handle incoming request! but without success! The message pops again... Thank all! Background: We have two independent sites which need to share only very few calendars and address books (two calendars and one address book right now, with about one change per week in either). Master-Master MySQL replication is too brittle, and clustering would be a bit overkill (and so far doesn't seem to be sufficiently reliable when working over the secondary site's 1 MBit link). We already have per-site IMAP servers configured, we'd only need to extend this to SOGo tables. Currently there is no easy way to configure this. You have to manually create/change the settings in the database yourself. When I look at my calendar (with Lightning), the event looks like it has been already added and I cannot set the attendance. The web interface functions correctly. Is this a bug with Thunderbird/Lightning or a configuration issue? I'm using Thunderbird 24.5.0, Lightning 2.6.5, SOGo Connector 24.0.5, and the SOGo server runs 2.6.6 I think that I found out what the problem is. My users are stored on LDAP and they have multiple email addresses, for example: dn: uid=joshua,ou=people,dc=example,dc=com objectClass: inetOrgPerson objectClass: organizationalPerson objectClass: person cn: Joshua Falken givenName: Joshua sn: Falken mail: joshua.fal...@example.com mail: j.fal...@example.com mail: jos...@example.com If this user receives an invitation and he is invited as jos...@example.com then everything works as expected, because this is the main email address and the one associated with his calendar in thunderbird/lightning. If this user receives an invitation as one of his email aliases, then the web interface can deal with it but thunderbird/lightning exhibits the behaviour that I described before. Christian, you seem to be having the same issue, are you also using multiple mail fields per user in your LDAP setup? Only some users have multiple mail aliases. But the problem persists for all our users using Thunderbird/Lightning. So I don't think this has anything to do with it. SOGo seems to have the capability for it, seeing how sogo_folder_info has fields for that, but I can't find how to configure it? Background: We have two independent sites which need to share only very few calendars and address books (two calendars and one address book right now, with about one change per week in either). Master-Master MySQL replication is too brittle, and clustering would be a bit overkill (and so far doesn't seem to be sufficiently reliable when working over the secondary site's 1 MBit link). We already have per-site IMAP servers configured, we'd only need to extend this to SOGo tables. Currently there is no easy way to configure this. You have to manually create/change the settings in the database yourself. We are using SOGo without Openchange layer, email is accessed via IMAP and calendars / contacts are synced with SOGo server via iCal4OL software. I read in SOGo documentation that: - freebusy lookups are supported using the Internet Free/Busy feature of Outlook - URL to use must be of the following format: http://hostname/SOGo/dav/public/%NAME%/freebusy.ifb - SOGoEnablePublicAccess must be set to YES This works, with one limitation: Each user’s calendar ACL’s have to be updated for public access (View Date and Time). Whilst there is a setting SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles, this is ignored for public access. Is there another way of enabling FreeBusy lookups for Outlook other than granting public calendar access on user-by-user basis? Many thanks for any hints There are at least two ways this could be achieved: 1. Have a setting like “SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles” that applies for public calendars This should definitely be another setting, as internal and public access are different after all. Sure, I should have said similar setting, that does the same thing for non-authenticated users (public). 2. Embed username / password in SOGo URL, something like http://hostname/SOGo/dav/public/%NAME%/freebusy.ifb?Login=LoginPassword=PW Did you try the following? http://Login:Password@hostname/SOGo/dav/%NAME%/freebusy.ifb This unfortunately does not work, I believe because Outlook uses IE as it’s engine for http(s) access and username:password@ in URL is no more allowed for IE. So far I did not find the way to make it work old way for IE 11. [SOGo] xml2wbxmlFromContent: failed: Parsing of XML Document Failed
Hi ! SOGO uses 6 minutes to parse a mailbox with about 1 mails/830MB. At the end the log says xml2wbxmlFromContent: failed: Parsing of XML Document Failed. The stored XML document in /tmp is 420973576 bytes. There are several error messages/warnings before this : File NSData.m: 3093. In -[NSDataMappedFile initWithContentsOfMappedFile:] mapping failed for /tmp/OGo982353E0D78F2DCA.tmp - Invalid argument Got invalid multibyte sequence. ToEncode: UCS-2LE FromEncode: US-ASCII Note: no key found for sorting, using 'DATE': (null) These appear for other mailboxes as well, but do not cause the error of parsing the XML document. SOGO has 2GB of vmem allocated, so I don't think it's a memory issue. What can I do to remedy this ? Regards, Sigurd Holter -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
