There's an opened ticket for this feature:

[SOGo] Share calendar on web

2014-09-05 Thread Birger Brunswiek
Hi all,
I have a calendar in my SOGo account which I want to share on the web. I
have set the permissions accordingly and accessing the calendar in ics
or xml works just fine. I was wondering if there is any way that I can
have the calendar rendered on a web page. Ideally SOGo should be able to
do so since it has an inbuild renderer for the calendar anyway. However
I was unable to find a way to get SOGo to serve a calendar for the
public as HTML. I also tried some other ics renderers but I was unhappy
with all of them. They either had problems with timezones or recurring
events. One of those was Google Calendar which at some point simply
stopped working because it was unable to parse a single (apparently) bad
event. Any ideas how I can share my calendar as rendered HTML?

Cheers,
Birger

Re: [SOGo] SOGo connector prompts for password again

2014-09-05 Thread Alessio Fattorini

I read this workaround:

"So, besides sogo, you have to install another plugin: Saved Password
Editor"

I'm seeing an issue where the Thunderbird SOGo connector add-on is
re-prompting for username/password at random intervals (every few days).
Yet I have not changed anything on the server-side (such as the
username/password) which would require re-authentication.

Where would I start looking to figure out why the SOGo connector is
asking for the credentials again?

Hi Thomas,
same problem here, I have a lot of rows into sogo.log until the log
becomes greater than 2GB and that blocks sogo process

I don't have much information, any suggestions?

Re: [SOGo] Web calendar subscription button absent in Thunderbird

2014-09-05 Thread Jacques Morrisseau
I mean something like a gmail calendar on in the specific case I had
this week, it was an ics calendar created on a bugtracking system.

What do you mean by "3rd party webmails"?

If you want to have additional IMAP accounts (and external) in SOGo, you
can enable SOGoMailAuxiliaryUserAccountsEnabled.

If you want synchronization of remote ICS subscritions inbetween SOGo
and Thunderbird - that might not happen soon because we did this by
design. We want to avoid SOGo pulling the remote ICS file and sending it
over to Thunderbird over DAV.

We have a Sogo 2.2.7 server. Thunderbird is version 24.7.0 with
Sogo connector & integrator 24.0.6 as well as Lighnting 2.6.6 . We
seem to be missing the "subscribe to web calendar" button in
Thunderbird.

The button is present in the web interface. We can create and view
third party web based calendar in the web interface, but they do not
appear in Thunderbird.

Is there any settings for this I am not aware of for this or is this
a bug that was already reported? I could not find anything on the
mailing list or the bugtracker.

The subscribe to web calendar button is exclusive to the web.

In Thunderbird, you can simply go in the calendar module, than File ->
New Calendars ... -> On the network ... -> iCalendar and type in the URL.
