Re: [SOGo] FreeBSD port in working order, needs testing
For what it's worth. Thank you :) I'm excited to hear about getting SOGo into the ports tree. [SOGo] SoGo Connector: No Changes
SoGo Connector 31.0.1 Lightning 3.3.3 Thunderbird 31.4.0 I can create a remote adress book, but it does not sync any contacts. Tried it on my Baikal Server, with Google Contacts and with the SoGo demo. There are no error messages, it just says "no changes". Checked it on other computers and it doesn't work anywhere. My Android device did connect to my Baikal Server. I don't know where the Problem is. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] FreeBSD port in working order, needs testing
For any FreeBSD users out there, I have made a FreeBSD port of SOPE/SOGo 2.2.14. It works great on 10.1 (amd64). However ther is one error when using DEVELOPER=yes in /etc/make.conf. This does not stop it working though. I have it in production for a few days now, no problems so far. It's not in the official ports tree yet, since I am not a port comitter yet, nor does the port pas all the regulations yet. Hopefully I can get it submitted soon. However, it is available on github: https://github.com/ethoms/freebsd-ports $ git clone https://github.com/ethoms/freebsd-ports.git I'm looking forward to testing the new version extensively. The last version I have used was 2.0.4b, so there should be some nice improvements. Please let me know if you can get rid of the errors with DEVELOPER=yes. Also if it works on other FreeBSD versions / architectures. I recommend testing it in a jail, since it pulls in quite a few things. Regards, Euan Thoms -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] How to set default email domain
Hello, I'm trying to set up a default outgoing email domain that would be used in case the recipients address does not contain any domain (e.g. jack instead of j...@sogo.nu). Setting SOGoMailDomain does not seem to do the job. Instead, SOGo inserts @MISSING_DOMAIN. Any ideas are welcome. [SOGo] openchange, sogo, centos6
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 https://www.five-ten-sg.com/util/openchange.bash That assumes a starting point of a fresh Centos 6 install taking all the defaults for a desktop install, with eth0 setup on a fixed ip address, and a fully qualified hostname that is used to derive the mail domain, realm, and other items. It uses the nightly repository from inverse.ca - is that appropriate? # ./openchange.bash phase1 'DOMAINCHANGEME' 'adminpasschangeme!' # -- generate and install ssl keys # ./openchange.bash phase2 The first argument to phase1 is the samba domain with its 14 character limit. The samba realm is derived from $(hostname). Sogo 2.2 - is openchange-ocsmanager still supported or necessary, or is that going away? SOGO vs memcached - the wiki implies we should connect over a unix domain socket, but in that case we need to make sure the sogo user has permissions to the socket. I switched that to a localhost tcp socket, but tcpdump does not show anyone connecting to it. Perhaps we need "SOGoMemcachedHost = localhost:11211;" to specify the port number? Is there any simple test scenario that will force sogo to use memcached? Centos vs debian - /etc/sysconfig/clock on debian uses underscores rather than spaces. Something does not properly quote the ZONE variable, since on Centos that might be "America/Los Angeles". -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v2.0.14 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAlTZgKEACgkQL6j7milTFsGyuACeMNHMpkK4QvvlF9xN1ekf4paI WMIAoIXXADOMlUW2mBVL6wFmLJhJ7SjD =wqIc -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
